Kobe was clutch...not many players can come in late in the game with a sprained wrist and take over like he did. He hit some of the toughest shots you can make down the stretch.

So your basically saying, with Kobe sitting the rest of the time, the Lakers would have still won?

Give me a break...

If not for Kobe, Cleveland would be riding a winning streak going into Phoenix tonight.

No I'm saying Lebron hater that if Kobe's teammates (Odom and Parker) hadn'et outplayed Marshall and D. Jones as badly as they did the Laker would have lost. The last minute by Kobe is obscuring we lost this game secondary to Odom nearly putting in a triple double and us missing FT's throughout the WHOLE game not just at the end.

Steve Kerr basically said the same thing I said earlier in this thread...

Being Clutch for LeBron is a non issue IMO.... The real is issue is him admiting he does not have the killer instinct, and them spitting that out on National TV.... Not only is that a trait of being Clutch... It's a trait for greatness...

Prior to the game, James was asked about Kobe and gave a very candid response that foreshadowed the outcome of the game. LeBron described Bryant as the best player in the NBA before admitting, "I don't think I have an instinct like Kobe where I want to kill everybody."

I think that quote tells a lot about the difference between the two. Kobe is a cold-blooded scorer – a man without a conscience who revels in taking the big shot at the end of the game and isn't afraid of missing it. LeBron is a more conscientious player – a distributor of the ball who feels most comfortable controlling the game with his passing yet providing scoring when needed.

oh my.

first we complain that Lebron could not handle the ball handling at the end of the game. but elsewhere i read that we need to take the ball away from snow and jones and make Lebron the point guard.

let's not vacillate tooooo much. now i see why fans from other boards come here and make fun of us and taunt us. we are not very nba savvy.
