Browns Free Agency 2015

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If the Browns go after another 5'10 receiver, it better be the best short receiver in the NFL. As I wrote before, Stevie Johnson could be an ideal 2nd receiver because what he lacks in speed, he is a beast in running accurate routes and grabbing 50/50 balls. I'd be thrilled to get both former Kentucky receivers and watch Gordon and Austin take a hike.

No interest in overpaying Torrey Smith, he's just not good enough to warrant that type of deal.

If they're going to overpay someone, I'd rather it be Cobb.

IMO, If Andrew Hawkins is worth a $4M guarantee, than so is Torrey Smith. Instantly becomes best active receiver on roster. I like Cobb, but he is going to make more than that.

I know receiver is a position of need, but really what's the point of getting Dez Bryant if we have nothing but dumpster fires throwing the ball?

I'm pretty sure he was just throwing out the FA receivers. Try and sign a taller guy for not much $ and if that doesn't pan out, try and go for Cobb and like b00b said, look for a taller WR in the draft.

Yeah, I was just saying we could get an all-pro WR and we still have the same root problem-qb.

The more I think about Nick Foles, the more I think he fits here.

Would love to see the team go after him, though I sincerely doubt he's available to the extent we all think he is.

Probably depends on if they are able to acquire Mariota. If they can't get high enough to take him then there is no way Foles is available.

Exactly, I think that interest is soundly overblown by lazy journalism which assumes Kelly will mortgage the future because he coached the kid.

I don't see that as realistic.

That said, a year removed from free agency and a huge question mark long-term, maybe they move on in some other capacity.

At which point, I'd be first in line. I really think Foles is pretty talented.

I guess having a 6'6 QB will help with our vertically challenged WR core so far.

Absolutely not on Matt Moore.

Honestly...and I may get killed for this, but if we go any FA QB, I want Sanchez.

Ugh. Let me go throw up now.

Matt Moore, Mark Sanchez...

Place those season ticket orders now.

It seems like every other off-season we are discussing Matt Moore or Ryan Mallett.
