If I remember correctly, we had some trick throw back plays at Ohio State for him, so I don't think he's incapable of catching a ball.

Let's keep expectations tempered gentleman. It'll be a long shot if he even gets 1st team reps with this average at best corps, let alone be a solid contributor. To my knowledge he has never spent any regular time at WR in his life. The smart time to make the switch would have been when he first came to the NFL, not after he has been around awhile and flailed out as a QB.

Pretty much any good athlete can run go routes. If he can hit and make cuts without wasting steps, extend his arms to grab the ball, and correctly make the right decisions on option and hot routes, then I'll raise my expectations.
