Call of Duty: Black Ops II

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
We need to get some 360 players together for some Zombies action one of these days.

Round 35 on Die Rise today. On the catwalk in the red Buddha room. Ran out of ammo on 34 and scrambled surprisingly made it through 34...

Ended up trying to snipe... I can no longer bitch about snipers because I suck at sniping and admit it does take some essence of skill when you're not standing still looking through the scope... I have to admit is fun when you get on a roll. I was playing against some scrub earlier running around with a MK48 with a suppressor and dual band scope, killed him, picked up his gun and was spawn raping the other team on Hydro... fun as hell.:gap:

Sniping is the easiest thing to do in this game.

They keep making it easier and easier because kids think they're really good at it, and will use it more and more. In the old COD you could never play domination and run around with a sniper going positive and getting the flags. It doesn't work like that. But in today's call of duty it's pretty simple.

I used the sniper once, went 24-11. Its so easy my 11 year old nephew can snipe and doing all the fancy "Tricks" as the kids call it these days.

Sniping is very easy in this game, but still a bit of a challenge for me because there really aren't any true sniper maps where I can just hole up in a building and pick people off all game.

Carrier and Standoff come to mind as sniping maps. Carrier is wide open for snipers to pick people off, as Standoff has buildings you can post up in.

I love snipers who don't use flak jacket. Tubing them seems to make them pretty angry.

Carrier, Standoff, Yemen, Raid, and Turbine are all very easy to snipe on.

Carrier - get to the side with the blast shields and post up on the right side or watch the middle.

Standoff - post up in either one of the large houses at either end of the street. If you angle it just right, you're able to watch a good chunk of the house, the street, and the broken wall without exposing yourself to a ton of gunfire.

Yemen - if you start on top, the right building is awesome. You can watch the plank path, or go to the upstairs and watch the left side building, as well as the street below you. You can also go left and watch the tower and the staircase, or stay back in the fruit stand. If you start on the bottom, you can snipe from the big window on the right side. It's also possible to take the right side building and still have the other team spawn at the top.

Raid - take your pick... I wouldn't watch the round area, but you can do that. I think you're exposed to too much gunfire if you snipe there, though. If you start kitchen side, watch the middle. Or, you can get in the pool next to the wet bar and snipe into the bedroom and below it. If you start garage side, you can either sit in the bedroom or sit in the middle. Again, I wouldn't advise going into the art room overlooking the round area.

Turbine - Building 2 is good. Building 3 is good. Building 4 allows you to overlook their spawn if they spawn near the bridge. The pathway between the ruins and Building 3 allows you to watch a huge portion of the map. The bridge is a good place to snipe from, although I don't use it often. Sniping from the top of the turbine is a death wish if you stay there for longer than a few seconds.

I hate the vast majority of snipers on this game because they ALL spray with the SVU or run around and hip fire or quick scope you. I really wish the sniping was like that of World at War, where every sniper rifle except for one was bolt action.

I hate how Treyarch has catered to people who use cheap tactics so much. Sniping used to take a degree of skill to do effectively; now all you need is an SVU with a Ballistics CPU to keep the sway down and a Variable Zoom Scope, and you can spray n' pray to your heart's content.

Battlefield was the best for that...

I haven't made a sniper class since MW2.

Any of you guys doing the leagues? I got to gold division in both and keep getting smoked by better players or get people who quit and leave us undermanned. Playing solo kind of blows

I fucking hate Carrier, I can't move without getting sniped. And I only play hardcore and its just like I take two steps and sniped. Favorite map is slums, I usually have my best games on that map. Run and gun with the Vector or MSMC. 3 attachments... quick draw, stock, and fast mags or long barrel.

Seriously, nobody wants to team up to play zombies? Is everyone a soloist? :chuckles:

I'm on Easter break next week, I'm sure I could catch a game or two with some of you guys if you want. I'm not horrible, and I've been working on gold/diamond guns with stupid shit, so my K/D is a bit lower than advertised.

No, fuck multiplayer, multiplayer is only to be played in the morning when all the little children aren't on. Zombies only.

I only really be on late at night. Like right now I'm at work so ill be on sometime after 11. I usually only play during the day on thursdays. I mentioned before that I strictly play CTF but ill be open to playing something else if you guys wanna get a game going. The only person I have played with from rcf so far is distracted. And we played ctf lol, that was on MW3.. But again my GT is xPointBlank187x. And anyone worrying about their K/D, mines is only a 1.10...
