With Magic, Toronto, Bucks, and San Antonio all making splashes.

In my opinion only Boston remains as a TT suitor, and even that is a stretch.

Nobody is going to overpay TT but us, no one but us would give him close to the max. He is an undersized PF who averaged 8 and 8...sure he's a good offensive rebounder and a solid defender but that is not a max set of skills.

Seems like all the Shumpert potential bidders have moved on to other targets, which is good. And look, I agree with the notion that the Hawks have done some really dumb things this offseason, but I think Al Horford instantly becomes potentially the 2nd or 3rd best PF in the East.

The cap holds on Green and Kawhi are way smaller than the contracts they agreed to and you can always go over the cap to sign your own free agents.

For Leonard yes but Green was URFA. So his number immediately zaps space. As does LMA's. I ignored Leonard's extension because for this season, it doesn't matter.

These moves basically indicate that Duncan and Ginobli will play for less than 10 million combined. Any more and they need to move someone else.

I don't see how anyone thinks ATL went to shit. Horford/Splitter is a great tandem down low, even without Millsap.

Lost Milsap and Carroll.

They were good because of ball movement, That front court is much more defendable now and Carroll is a huge loss. Sure Splitter is a nice add, but they are losing more than they are adding.

This!!!!

Same for Tristan.

The market should be going down on those guys. I am excited to see Horford finally play the position he was meant to...full time.

Great idea, let's peg all our contracts off the dumbest contract anyone in the league signs.

When teams do something this stupid, it changes the market value whether we like it not.

I guess this new TV revenue might have teams spending a little more freely than before.

There are going to be a lot of bad contracts from this off-season when its all said and done.

They haven't lost Milsap yet.

Splitter fills a need for the Hawks but he's so injury prone. Losing Carroll is a big blow. He was the heart of that team last year.

Also as good as Splitter is on defense, his offensive game is not much to speak of.

it doesn't change the fact that there is still limited available cap money in the league this season. this isn't teams signing their own FA's, these are guys moving teams. available cash is going to dry up rather quickly at this rate.

We will be forced to bid against ourselves for TT so he doesnt sign the QO and become unrestricted next year when the free agent money will be crazy.

We are not out of the woods yet on TT.
