I feel like Griffin can get some really good stuff from the contract, the more teams with no cap space that go after Aldridge, the better the contract becomes.

Wade's cap hold is 20 mi. Right now, Wade's cap hold + Dragic first year puts them at about 88mil, and that doesn't include Winslow or incomplete roster charges. They'd need to get rid of 5-10mil more, even if they send out as much as Aldridge will make.

It's certainly not easy but the Heat have $25 Million in expiring money and enough assets to make it happen.

I'm not sure where it leaves their roster but it can be done and Riley is the ultimate used car salesmen.

Wade probably comes in at a value number if Riley can land LMA.

Deng, Chalmers, Whiteside for LMA gets the job done and is beneficial for both parties.
