He'd be an upgrade over J.R. Smith and arguably cheaper. That's about the best we could do.

That's a matter of opinion. I would much rather keep JR and add younger pieces instead of getting older. That's just my opinion, though.

4 years 64 million for Tobias...That's nuts. TT is definitely worth more than 16 M per if Tobias is.

Yes, everything here is a matter of opinion. You don't need to state it every time someone disagrees with you.

THIS WOULD BE CRAZY!

Realistic Scenario

Cavs Get:
J.J. Redick: $7.08 million
Jordan Farmar: $2.1 million
Jordan Hamilton: $1.01 million

Clippers Get:
Brendan Haywood: $10.5 million contract

Greedy Scenario

Cavs Get:
J.J. Redick: $7.08 million
Jamal Crawford: $5.67 million

Clippers Get:
Brendan Haywood: $10.5 million contract
Rights to Cedi Osman
Future Second-Round Draft Pick

IMO if we had to give up ANY assets to take on their salary, id bet the clipps would want rights to Kaun over osman. they need bigs in the worst way.

Harris is a stat stuffer buy it remains to be seen if he's a solid team guy and a defensive guy.

But if you're Orlando, it's a no brainer to lock him up. You can't lose assets for nothing when you are not a destination market. So they keep him, see how that group grows together and then trade him next year if they want to move on from his contract. Right now a team like the Lakers, Pistons, or Celtics would kill to have him so he will be good trade value throughout the length of his deal

Eh, JJ Redick is what the Cavs want JR to be, but isn't.

I don't think the Spurs need to clear more space for LMA, but maybe we could indirectly help them get Aldridge AND West if we take Mills.

Say if Cavs are really interested in Stuckey and he wants a little more money then what were eligible to give him, then we proceed to go about it another way...

Anybody else on Indiana worth wanting if we were to do a sign and trade to give Stuckey more money? Miles?

I may be wrong on this, but I think if they get Aldridge they can only pay Duncan like 3 mil. Maybe they would be agreeable to dumping some assets to get Duncan a more respectable contract. Granted it's maybe not urgent to the Spurs since if they can get Duncan cheap then so be it, but it seems like Duncan should make more than that.

From what I understand they need space in order to sign Duncan and Ginobili, unless all these guys take massive paycuts.

We can not take in a player by S&T
It is not an option.
If Stuckey comes, he only has two options: vet minimum or taxpayer MLE

Duncan and Ginobili will probably play for the vet minimum or split the midlevel before letting us take Diaw and Mills off their hands...

Our best player (Lebron James) deserves a backup. I wish we'd stop talking about Redick, I doubt they'd trade him anyway.
