Seems like avery clear plan is in place. Griffin has pretty much laid it all out already.
Bring back all the key guys and replace some of the 35+ year old vets with athletic 2 way players in the 26-30 range.

Our trade tonight was not based on saving money. We could have simply taken the guy the Spurs grabbed at 26 and had him stashed away. So there is a plan the FO knows what it is, LeBron knows what it is, and it will include moves that are not "anticlimactic" between now and the end of July.

To me that last bit reads as player additions, not just the re-signing of guys already here.

I love Griffins attitude towards Love. Why would a player who experienced winning for the very first time leave a MAX deal on the table, leave LeBron, leave what will be one of the deepest teams in the NBA, and leave the team that will be favored to win the championship. All because in the first season they didn't totally iron out all the wrinkles of how best to use him? No. This is not a Dwight situation irt Love. Not at all similar to LeBron in 2010. There will be lots of noise but Love will be back and we will end up with a far deeper, far more talented team than we started last training camp with and with the benefit of the first years experience, trials and errors, and growth.

Next year is a 64+ win season without a doubt and hopefully the championship as well.

PG: Kyrie - Delly - ???
SG: Shump - JR - Harris
SF: LeBron - ??? - Jones - Miller
PF: Love - TT - Xmas
C: Moz - Andy
Canton: Pointer
Turkey: Cheddy Osman

Bolded are for sure back next year
Underlined are expected to come back...

- I see both Jones and Miller coming back because we will lose 3 vets in Haywood, Perk, Marion and we'll still need some experience. We were too old last year but we can’t flip it totally 180°. Cavs FO/LeBron know that.
- I fully expect Delly, Shump, Love, and TT to come back.
- We need a backup PG and backup SF still…..
- Sir Pointer is D League fodder and Osman is staying overseas.
That’s 11 roster spots filled: JR Smith, Xmas will probably be 12 & 13.

Trade Chips: Kaun, BHC, Draft Picks

Trade for Avery and sign a backup SF like Richard Jefferson??? Yes please.

How is nobody talking about that Avery Bradley rumor?

Just to clarify, Pointer still counts towards the roster even if he's down the D League.

I mixed him up with Jeff Green in another post... now I am mixed on this I feel we could do better yet worse. If we have the shot we take it though.
