Damn, Gerald Green and Amare were the two guys I wanted at vet min to close out this roster....

I know that the 10/11 guys on a roster aren't going to win you a lot of games, but still...

Fuck it. Let's trade everyone and build around Jamario....

Can we let it go? they aren't even good.

When you have 4 guys making the max or near max, whoever is at the end of your bench isn't that good.

The point is that they were both available for the minimum, and they both provided skills that this team could use.

They aren't make or break players, but it's ok to be slightly annoyed...

You just said you wanted Luke Babbitt...

If the cavs had more than 15 roster spots then I would have liked him, you can't argue with 51 percent 3pt shot.
Trade Love for Babbit+Ajinca and you get a real stretch 4.

Seriously now, I was half joking but he isn't that bad.

We couldn't have gotten either Green nor Amare, Green took the minimum to play with Dragic and Amare wouldn't get any minutes here, the only thing that sucks is that he might be going to the Heat, that's about it.

I want to fight you.

It's probably difficult to entice a big to the team right now because Andy is kind of a big unknown. If he's healthy enough to play, then a 5th big probably wouldn't play at all unless they beat out andy and even then they probably only get 15 mins a game. If Andy is out or traded there'd be a bit of minutes opened up but not a ton, especially considering LeBron may play some power forward.

Then we still have uncertainty with JR and to a lesser extent Dellavedova. Players don't really know if they'd be stepping into ample minutes or if they'd suddenly find themsevles playing not much at all.

Then we have the Haywood contract..

So maybe these players are looking at other situations and seeing more of a role there than they foresee with the Cavs.

Well first of all it is hard to find a team willing to help the Cavs as most super teams tend to have this problem. Give me Butler who can spell Bron for 15 mins and is upgrade over Miller and Marion. Then use Haywood to get us depth at the SG or C if you can and there you go. I would love Johnson even if it means trading A.V sorry but we want to win and Johnson will help us more than a guy who is injured every year. However If A.V is full health and the same... then it gets tricky.

Can we just end our off season tomorrow by re-signing TT, JR, Delly, then trading Haywood for a TPE which will then give us a chip down the road just in case an injury does occur, we'd know what to use it on come deadline.

Mo-Delly-JR-TT-Andy is good enough, with a side of Harris, Miller, and Christmas.

Then Danny Arison can go play outside.

Call me crazy, but I sort of enjoy the suspense/speculation/process of it. It helps pass the time between now and the start of the season.
