Any possibility that LMA will go to the Raptors and we could get someone from them? He is in Toronto talking to them apparently.

It is something we could look at potentially but I would like to remind that he's not actually in Toronto visiting the Raptors yet because that would be illegal.

One more name on the market:

Biyombo is someone who intrigues me, but with only the mini mle and center being our smallest need, I don't want to spend the mini mle on a center.

I think with the right team he could be a good rotational player though and he is still very young. Just not a fit for the Cavs.

If we're getting a big with the mini mid, it better be a guy that can shoot the ball. Biyombo seems pretty redundant since we have TT, Andy, and Moz back. Adding another shooter would be great as we could always keep a floor stretcher there.

That's what I said, he isn't a fit for the Cavs, but I think he will develop. Just think the right team could have a good pick up there.

What about we take the contract of Marco Bellineli, Patty Mills and Danny Green for Haywood contract from SAS or Diaw, Corey Joseph and Danny Green
it's gonna cost alot to Gilbert but I browsed other teams and SAS are our only chance to get something good.

could add a pick aswell, they need to clear space, they are likely not to sign Danny Green and CoJO will demand alot since he is becoming a FA

Do we really want to give the Spurs room to sign LMA?

Before we went out and got Mozgov I preached until people stopped listening about Biyombo. As a rim protector, there are few better and if we didn't already have the most intimidating front court in the league coming into this season, I'd still want him. I lost count how many shots he blocked in that first game where we let a 21-point first quarter lead evaporate in minutes.

But I don't want Splitter either, unless he's used as a trade chip (I could see a 3-team trade being likely in that scenario, along with Haywood's contract and perhaps other filler.) Even if we don't keep Christmas our front court is loaded.

I think the backup pg slot will work itself out; I think at this point we're predestined to get Mo. Sf should be the real priority and I'm sure Griffin is brilliantly strategizing for just that.

Rashard Lewis attempting a comeback.

Wouldn't expect anything out of him, but could be the 13th-14th man. Only seeing duty if/When Andy goes down.

These are the types of players we need to avoid. Totally dead weight, no value vets taking up space. Those spots, when possible, should go to young guys. So, if we do hang on to a guy like Christmas, I'd much rather have him (and guys like him) getting those end of the bench spots.

Spurs moving quick and getting the first meeting with LMA. If they can wrap things up within the first day or two and secure a commitment, things will move quickly.

They'll have to move Splitter at a minimum, so we should get clarity quickly on if Splitter(and potentially other pieces) could be a realistic possibility for the Cavs.

Of course, this presumes that Splitter is even one of the Cavs top choices for that contract, which do do not know for certain.

I still think Diaw and Mills would be fantastic. I said earlier in the season that Splitter would start over Mozgov....now I'm not too sure of that. They're essentially the same type of player.

Diaw is a guy who can move the offense if he's not scoring.

Why do so many people wants Splitter and Mills? Both are one dimensional ass

Pop meeting with him, that can easily persuade him to join. Any reservations LMA might have, can be quickly out of the way.

I personally think he's a total idiot if chooses anyone but the Spurs.

Not sure what else he wants. Winning culture, great coach players love playing for, unselfish players with no ego, near his home-town where he grew up.

Don't throw that away for the mythology of LA.

LA has been a disaster since Dr. Buss passed away.

I think it's more to do with people being realistic with what the Haywood deal will return. I think we'd all love to be able to get Rudy Gay/Bledsoe/etc. but total pipe dream, whereas this return is more feasible.
