Even with the team at full strength, JR is still about a 30 mpg player. I don't see how his value is limited at all.

I don't think so, since we picked up Mo. Unless the plan is to play him at the 3 a lot.

That'd be a defensive juggernaut....
Not sure if you're just taking the piss, but cheers either way :celb (2):

JR just seems to be what we're looking for to backup LeBron...an athletic defender who can score. He has the size and length (insert pipe joke) to bother most backup SFs. And putting Delly at SG, assuming he continues to improve his 3, gives him a clearly defined role and clears up the logjam at PG (which he could still play in certain situations, same as JR at the 2.)

That leaves Jefferson, Andy, and Jones waiting in the wings to be used whenever we need to slide them in for a few spot minutes. That's some serious depth...

Would Big Baby have any value to us at a vet minimum deal? Possible insurance for TT walking or Andy not being able to be effective after achilles injury? If he's open to playing overseas, seems like he would strongly consider a vet minimum deal with us. Whether we have any use for him I don't know.

Big baby should be playing offensive lineman for the browns, get some beefy protection for Manziel.
He chose the wrong sport haha

Clearly, I would love to see Big Baby come here, but we don't need another undersized big, to be honest. He's a lot like Andy in that he's a high-energy (surprisingly) nimble guy who can't really defend at the rim but is good with leverage down low and can hit a mid-range pick & pop pretty well. He's probably a better basketball player than Kaun, but offers less defensive presence. He's redundant to Andy's skills, but perhaps since Wild Thing isn't likely to make it through the season, you bring him along for his ability to space the floor and offer another big who can hit a spot-up 16-18ft baseline jumper

Pretty sure the Cavs don't have the vet min as we used it on Richard Jefferson.

We just keep inching closer and closer to this depth chart, which could be 15 deep with someone like Cunningham (at least until we might use the TPE during the season for another SG/SF/Big).
