If Pointer can actually guard solid NBA players, he could get PT. That's to be seen, but that is his calling card and I'm pleasantly surprised by his offensive competence and feel for the game. This isn't another Christian Eyenga. This guy can actually finish nicely at the hoop and play D. The form on his jumper doesn't look bad either, but if he works hard on that and improves it, he could find a home in the league.
