Cavs Ticket Questions, Policies, and STH Concerns

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Section 215...not great but I'm in!

I'e been asked by several friends if I'll sell them to make profit. My response?

I didn't suffer through Earl Clark and Alonzo Gee starting the last four years to miss this moment! :chuckle:

If anyone scored opening day tickets and is looking to sell please let me know what your asking, trying to get 2-3 for My brother for his wedding gift. Missed out today. Thanks guys

wow what do you guys think the crowd will be like on opening night on the magnitude level? Eastern Conference Finals caliber or even better?

How did they define majority? Like, 51%? 75%?

She didn't really define "majority." All I know is that I don't want to take a chance of losing them. I'm nervous, because I've got like 3 more people who are interested in buying anywhere from 3-5 games from me, but I don't know if they will hold that against me or not. She told me unless they are purchasing a large portion (I'd guess 8+ games) that I don't need to add them as a partner on my account. I guess we will find out. I'm going to go to the games every chance a get, but I live over an hour away and have a 3 week old at home, so I'm not sure how often that will be.

As I've stated earlier today, you don't need to worry unless you sell more than 50% of your games. That information has been relayed to me from a very reliable ticket manager who I know.

I appreciate it. I doubt there would be any issue as long as I'm appearing at a game every other week or so.

Thanks for the info...this is helpful as some friends and I are in a similar situation with our season tix

Not sure how often you talk to them, but next time you do, if you could get a clearer answer on if they consider "transferring" in the same vein as "selling", or if they are truly only concerned with how many you put up on Flash Seats, that would be amazing.

Agreed, an answer to that would be awesome.

So any official word if they save some tickets everyday for each game or do they keep doing the lottery until every game is sold out?

According to the Cavs language, they hold a new lottery the next day if unsold tickets remain. I don't think they are "saving" tickets at this point.

The lottery selected registrant forfeits their opportunity for tickets, if tickets are not purchased during the allotted 12-hour time frame. Once the sales window closes, new lottery registrants will be selected and notified the following morning. The process repeats itself until all tickets have been sold for the designated month.

Just checked and saw I won the lottery for this month. Home opener was all sold out so I bought two tickets for the Spurs game. Section 100 Row 15 at $150 a ticket. That game will be worth it though.

One edit: why are they sending these emails to the promotions folder for Gmail? I never get notifications for that. Seems pretty stupid.

We should try and get a group of guys or gal together who are going to games. Would be fun to grab beers before or after and talk shop.

$218 worth it for section 200? Been debating for a few days if that much for a single game is really worth it. Watching the preseason game really made me debate if the home opener will actually be all it has been built up to be. I get it, it's one of the biggest nights in Cleveland sports history but after that night is over there's many many years to come.. would I be a moron to spend $218 on a ticket?
