Cavs Ticket Questions, Policies, and STH Concerns

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Nice, my wife and I are 211 Row 4, Seats 5 & 6. What's everyone planning to do for before the game?

I figured I'd check out the outside activities from 4:00 until 5:45 then head inside the arena.

I am concerned there is a large seller in the FlashSeats Marketplace for the Cavs opener. They seem to own a large amount of seats and all sell tickets around the same time. It seems like a computer algorithm deciding to sell after a certain time if the bid reaches a certain percentage of asking price. Please see below for what I have come up with just looking at it from the user's end perspective.

How come every ticket that is sold for between $80-100 has a "SELL NOW" time of between 1:13PM and 1:30PM? The chance of this happening randomly seems very low. These are the lowest prices tickets that have sold out of all tickets.
There seems to be someone in charge of very large number of tickets from all different sections. The list prices range from $270-770. These seats are also all very close seats. They range between row #1 and row #7. The tickets sell between 12%-25% of the original asking price.

Here is the summary of what I've seen on FlashSeats:

2 seats Section 203 Row 7 , 5 seats Section 203 Row 1, 6 seats Section 223 Row 5, 4 seats Section 217 Row 10, 2 seats Section 221 Row 6, 2 seats Section 211 row 4, 4 seats Section 219 Row 5

Besides these tickets, there are also three other sets of tickets that don't fall within this 10 minute time range, but meet the other requirements of selling for around 20% of asking price and selling all three sets at exactly 12:15PM. The lists are $420-539 and sell for $115-135.

Anyone got an idea of what this could be? Seems strange.

I heard from someone that a large broker got screwed previous years with the cavs and they decided to make it up to him. I heard he may be the only broker they are letting sell in large quantities. I have no idea what the details of the circumstance are. It's possible that's him.

I'm flying in for the game and arrive in CLE at 5:00. No luggage. Hope I beat the traffic :)

I'm heading up from columbus at 1, hoping to get parked by 3:30 and have 4-7 to drink and see the events going on outside. Head into the arena a little before 7 and they'll probably have to drag me out of the arena after that because I'll never want to leave.

I don't think they've announced yet. My guess would be a little after 6.
I take that back. It's part of the TNT pregame show which starts at 7 o'clock so it will probably be during that hour.

As far as I know, the Cavaliers/TNT have not announced whether performances will occur and be shown live between 7pm-8pm. Or whether performances will happen be taped earlier in the evening and shown between 7pm-8pm. I imagine the TNT promos or local press will make it clear and that we'll know before the event.

My guess is that it will take place live between 7-8 (probably as late as possible, so they can milk viewership) and that most ticketholders will miss it.

Take the Rapid in from the airport, definitley no traffic to worry about

My opener ticket safari has finally ended! I just got two tickets for $100 a piece. I bid on these tickets for $100.23. They were list price at $338 a piece.

Section 211, Row 4, Seats 5 & 6

Haha, you must've bid on my tickets as well. Unfortunately, I had 5 bids at the time, and yours was the lowest.
