I think I could argue that Pistons present more match up problems for us than either of these teams. Starting two interchangeable hybrid SF/PF types in Tobias Harris and Morris for one. One might think it would be hard for Kev to guard either but he held his own on defense. A dominant big center like Drummond is usually the kryptonite to TT, but he held his own too. And as I've mentioned, Reggie Jackson might be the best PG defender Kyrie faces all playoffs. And Stanley Johnson and Marcus Morris were solid defenders on LeBron as well as Drummond sitting in the paint preventing LeBron from attacking as much as he wanted to.

Hawks have a more traditional lineup. Millsap is a bit of a hybrid but still a better match up for Love I would say. And Horford for TT. And no one to protect the basket when Kyrie and LeBron drive to the rim.

Celtics have some solid individual defenders to throw at LeBron, but no one to protect the rim. Kyrie has the size on Thomas to rise over him for shots whenever he wants. Celtics like to play small, and Kev will take advantage of them in the post like he did the Pistons.

I don't care who we play really. I don't even think I have a preference. I'd rather play the team that will be less dirty, but both teams probably will be. But I agree Hawks might challenge us to play defense more and we probably need that.

I for sure want the Hawks. I don't think they'd play dirty, truly. Obviously the Delly thing is there, but I think Bud has that team play with dignity. I also like them more as a matchup.

I could see IT having one crazy game and the Cavs dropping one to the Celtics. I truly think the Cavs would sweep the Hawks with ease. Their lack of rebounding is astounding to watch. TT is going to punk them so... so bad. Love as well with the way he is playing. They also, I'm fairly sure, don't even try for offensive boards. That series would be a domination from start to finish.

I still can't believe what the Heat are doing... they worry me but holy hell they're SO BAD on the road. The Raptors, however, don't surprise me. I totally saw this shit show coming.

I don't care if a series against Atlanta goes seven games.

I'd rather slug it out with Atlanta than sweep Boston and lose one of the Big Three to dirty play.

In any event, they beat Atlanta in five anyway.

For those who can't see tweets at work:

Game 1 - Monday, May 2 at 7 p.m.
Game 2 - Wednesday, May 4 at 8 p.m.
Game 3 - Friday, May 6 at 7 p.m.
Game 4 - Sunday, May 8 at 3:30 p.m.
Game 5 - Tuesday, May 10 at Time TBA*
Game 6 - Thursday, May 12 at Time TBA*
Game 7 - Sunday, May 15 at Time TBA*

* - if necessary

I can't see us having trouble with either team to be honest. I think Isaiah Thomas would cause the most problems for us, but a sweep would still be in order.

The level of play in that series has been substantially higher than people here seem to want to admit. The Cavs should win, but it is going to be a lot tougher than I expected previously. And the last thing I want is to have a long series against a team that lives well over the line.

Between IT2 and KD getting away with elbows (and worse) across the heads of the opposition, the league is allowing play that goes well beyond anything that could be considered basketball related. I just don't want a 6 game series under those circumstances.

I respect the Hawks and WWF elbow drops notwithstanding, they would be far less likely to injure than the Celts. Given what the last few days have looked like, this could well be a playoff of attrition. And that attrition is a much higher risk against the Celts.

I'd rather play the Hawks only because I think Boston is a dirty team and they'd try to hurt us.

Not sure we are safe with either team. I've seen Schroeder, Horford and Bazemore all playing pretty cheap basketball against Boston.

Either way I don't think we will be tested like we were against Detroit. Detroit is a very underrated team. I think we have the Celtics and Hawks number.

So the Cavs final game in the next series is Sunday, May 8th. I'll go ahead and plan my vacation after that.

Thanks! I’ll edit this into the original post.

For the second round, our home games (1, 2, and 5) will be aired on TNT, and our road games (3, 4, and 6) will be aired on ESPN/ABC.

Game 7 (if necessary) will either be aired on ABC or TNT depending on how many other second round series go to Game 7.

Getting kind of sick of our home games being during the week, would really like to not have to worry about going to work in the morning after getting home from the game so late. Our schedule always seems to be worse than any other team's.
