Cavs vs. Pacers -- Wednesday, Oct. 15, 7:00pm (FSO and NBA TV)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Did you even read my post? I could care less what the stat sheet shows for this game. I'm using each game this preseason for my evaluation of Dion's off ball play. i hate how defensive people on this forum get over Dion.
Don't let it get you down, hombre. There is a contingent here who have internalized his me against the world attitude and think any criticism of him is an attack on them personally. There's no nuance and if you say anything not laudatory, you are a hater that wants to see him fail. It's a shame.

You know what I realized it is nice not to mess up inbound plays anymore!

I guess the Charge are good enough to beat the Bucks bench rotation, but not the Pacers.

I'll be honest... I'm watching the Giants playoff game. How has Haywood looked against Hibbert? This is the situation where we need the big guy to contribute. Numbers look good, in that Hibbert seems to be frustrated offensively.

You've been here for a few months, you have no idea how scrutinized Dion has been on here. And what does it matter if he is in your profile picture? Bimbo Coles is my profile name and he sucked ass.
I've lurked for years.

Good game today. Rusty at some points offensively, guys having some trouble on both sides of the court against a physical Indiana team known for its stingy defense.

What I took away from the game:

LeBron has no problem slicing through defenses like these. He's truly just toying with people at this point.
It was a good learning experience for the guys to understand what better defenses will look like and how to get over them.
How important physicality is and that defense is very much important.
Tristan is now a BEAST (physically at least).
Delly has improved so much.

Most importantly, Blatt is a great coach. He again beat Indiana rotation guys with our 3rd unit. Kudos to him, the staff and the guys of course. It seems the team has already developed an identity , they can close out games, are not afraid and have bought in.

My 2cents FWIW.

Our third unit is better than your first unit...

I thought Haywood looked fine against Hibbert. Haywood has more trouble when he has to move his feet. He lumbers. But straight up against Hibbert, they both looked like plodding centers. It was the perfect matchup for the Cavs to see what Haywood could do. Haywood fumbled a bit in his first quarter stint and played pretty decent minutes in the third quarter.

Hibbert didn't play any more of a factor in the game than Haywood, which is pretty much a major win for the Cavs.

I thought Tristan was good against Hibbert. No one could push him out of the way.Good sign. Dion had a bad shooting night. Had to happen sometime.

I was at the game tonight, I was glad I got to see LeBron put on a show. Something else I noticed was the team chemistry... All the guys seem to get along, a lot of smiling, especially between Kyrie and LeBron at the end of the game on the bench as they were constantly laughing with each other. Kyrie was also dancing around a lot :chuckle: The bench was real supportive and cheering the guys on the court on. Everytime we would make a 3, the whole bench would stand up and hold up the 3 sign or whatever. Completely different from last years bench. Nice to see.

To be honest with all the spacing Hibbert's impact on defense was significantly lessened
