Cedar Point fast lane

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
heres a fun fact; I cant ride rollercoasters. i get so motion sick that I cant even be a passenger in a car or I'll vomit profusely.

Last ride I went on was the teacups with my dude and a handful of girls. I had to lay down outside the fucker for 20 minutes after it was done.

Who thinks I got laid?

Corey hits all his black chicks on the bridge of snake river falls he is OG man real OG

you guys are so full of shit, you mean to tell me NO one else gets taint ache?

That's what happens when Distracted's balls slap off it relentlessly for hours on end. :chuckles:

Honestly... Yes, I know EXACTLY what you're talking about. The bad offenders on roller coasters are hanging rides like "The Raptor," but the WORST rides are the "standing" roller coasters like "Mantis" at Cedar Point...

Just look at those dudes faces in the first row... complete taint carnage (although the white guy on the left might be enjoying it). The worst thing is that if you dont get the "seat" in the right position, it can lock WAY too high on your grundle and basicaly slap your perineum around like a trailer park house wife. I've had truly horrific experiences on that ride.

I would also like to take this time to talk about some new additions to CP this season.

What are they doing here? Where did the screen go? I hear you cry. Well, as you know, the new CEO of Cedar Fair (the company that owns Cedar Point, etc etc) Matt Ouimet, was the PRESIDENT of Disneyland during it's comeback. He took a tour of Cedar Point at night and said "This place is nice, but we really need to light this place up.". And so, that's exactly what they are doing with... ILLUMINOSITY

GONE is the screen, the booths are moved to the side, and IN comes a stage show, fireworks display, and MORE! The midways will also be lit up, DJs stationed at the stage and historic ballroom to entertain the crowds after closing, man oh MAN what a Summer it's going to be at the Point!

However, I would wait for next season, because rumor has it... that... well...

NEW COASTER IN 2013

Rumors SWIRLING that Cedar Point will be adding a B&M wing-rider coaster.

So they are adding a stage with little computer generated robot singers on it??? WTF is that??? Why don't they put a REAL stage with REAL singers there???

.....What? Oh, it's just a promo video? Nevermind....

Seriously, what a great idea. That is why corporations bring in new blood.... fresh set of eyes without preconceived standards... that spot is gonna be rockin'... light the place up... absolutely!!

Dude, I know EXACTLY what you're talking about...just stand regular height when you get in (don't squat), and MAKE SURE YOU CAN breathe in and out normally before they lock you into position, or you're in for a world of suffocation and perineum pressure for the next 2 minutes...

Nicky, I'll be 29 in less than a week and I've never been to Cedar Point. Always went to Kennywood and Geauga Lake.

At least you did that. I'm not sure what IGWT has done, but it seems like it isn't much. Cedar Point is awesome, except the waiting... :chuckles: If I go this year, I'd definitely get the fast pass.

Geauga Lake.

May it rest in piece. :(

On-topic, hearing nothing but complaints about this Fast Lane system from those who aren't using it. Never thought people would hate waiting in line...

Is it that they don't understand it?

Kennywood and Geauga Lake were my shit. I would go to those all the time. Kennywood's big dipper and Pittsburgh Plunge were awesome.

http://www.cedarpoint.com/what-s-new (this list reminds me of NBA training camps, where they only tell you new guys on the team, and don't mention who left :chuckles: )

- Luminosity- http://www.cedarpoint.com/what-s-new/luminosity- CP has always had an "end-of-day" lasers-lights-pyrotechnics show (it's replacing "American Portrait" big-screen show from last yr, and I'm not seeing the Starlite Experience (Transiberian Orchestra Christmas light show in Frontier Trail) so I guess that's gone too), sounds like they're just expanding it, adding choreographed flash mobs :jerkoff:, 2 DJs and more concessions. I've always thought CP could use more nighttime lighting, this would be the most obvious difference between Disney and CP to an incoming Disney exec, but the truth is the park closes at 10, not midnight like Magic Kingdom/Epcot, so you're only getting an hour's worth of dark-time improvements. Is it worth it? If it involves sacrificing coasters (Yeah, I know, it's only Wildcat) I'm never in favor of that. What they need to do is paint Power Tower- it's the one thing that stands out as looking cheap. Seems like they're avoiding doing it because the white scaffolding around the tower supports are in the way and would make painting it difficult)

Says they're adding lighting to Mill Force (only had minimal white/red lights)= good, updated lighting on the giant ferris wheel (thought it looked fine before, but it's toward the front of the park so why not), updated lighting on Power Tower (not sure why, it looked fine and would be better updated by fresh paint)

Dinosaur show- http://www.cedarpoint.com/what-s-new/dinosaurs-alive- Pretty sure there aren't any 2nd graders on RCF...but if you have kids, hey, who doesn't go thru a dinosaur phase... 5 extra bucks to get in, it's on the island the Boat Ride goes around. Not sure how to get over there- during HallowWeekends the Terror Island maze is over there, and I think they put some kind of pontoon bridge across or something. Obviously is a traveling carnival- type exhibit that moves around the country but looks to be high-quality robotics.

Fast Lane- http://www.cedarpoint.com/what-s-new/fast-lane Not a fan. But then again I had a season pass 2 yrs ago and was going when there were no crowds. If you can only get there during super-busy season, I guess it might be worth it. Supposedly the line-bypass thing is hidden from the general public, if not you'd be getting dirty looks from other people waiting in line.

Soak City Mat Racer- http://www.soakcitycp.com/what-s-new This looks pretty cool but Soak City doesn't open til May 26th. Personally I found Wildwater Kingdom at Geauga Lake (also a Cedar Fair Park- included free in CP's Platinum Pass :headbang:) a lot more convenient (not to mention Aurora is an hour closer) if I wanted to do water stuff. You can just walk up and down many of the the water slide towers at will, rather than standing in line for 20 mins like at Soak City. Water parks are water parks though- long lines when it's 80+ degrees, mostly empty below 72.

Starlight Experience is still there.

Oh, awesome. It's a good...kind of peaceful & surreal ending to a day there (provided you don't have crotch rotch from the sit-down water rides, then it's just uncomfortable.)

Heading over there with a group of friends on Saturday, and after hearing of this I was able to convince everyone to get one (they're only 30 each if you have a group) Should be busy enough to where Fast Lane will be necessary. I think it will be a good deal seeing as we live 3 hours away, only go once every couple years, and would like to hit every ride a couple times.

If it doesn't yield great results, I'll never hear the end of it so I'm really hoping we never have to wait more than 45 minutes-1hr. Will report back

Saturday? Don't ever go on a Saturday.

Unless you have Fast Lane...
