CJ Miles & The Cavs Option

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Re: CJ Miles is *Allegedly* Elk Shyt (12-13 poster boy )

yeah, a lot of those players are front court guys, and Miles has played over 20 minutes - I doubt many of those Cavs players have. Those overall NBA names have, but none of them are guards - they are defensive specialists.

Re: CJ Miles is *Allegedly* Elk Shyt (12-13 poster boy )

The thing is, most of those guys are front court players. When looking at back court, we have Kinsey and Miles, but Miles isnt close to Kinsey bad.......yet.

Hmm, nice spot. If we cut down the search to PG/SG/SF and include a little actual usage (FGA >= 2), let's see where we get (there were games where Kinsey played a single second):

Mickael Pietrus 10
Daequan Cook 9
Al Thornton 8
Sam Young 8
Rodney Carney 8
Jarvis Hayes 8
Welsey Johnson 8
Martell Webster 8
Bill Walker 7
Steve Novak 7
Cartier Martin 7
etc...

If we tighten that up as far as we can go (FGA >= 9), then CJ doesn't have far to go at all:

Signing Miles was Grant's most brilliant rebuilding move. He's going to lead us to McLemore/Shabazz/Noel/Len.

This guy is a mess to watch. Pure roller coaster..

Do players like him generally develop consistency? I always like to compare players' career to that of the ones in the past.

CJ is truly top 10 most frustrating Cavs to watch. There's games I'm yelling at him for taking stupid shots and other games I'll encourage the same ones. The moment I think the guy has a shot at being a future solid starting SG, he takes over the wheel of the tank.

Defensively.. He has all the tools to be a solid shutdown SG. But he isn't.

ELK. SHYT.

I am confused, Thad Young, Outlaw, and Beasley are the only back court players on that list. And all three are sf not guards. If that is the complete list, wow, it is worse than i thought.

I didn't bother to filter the second list for wing men. It's contrived in much the same way most multi-category stats the media publishes is contrived in that it starts with a qualifier (FGA >= 9) that CJ only just meets, but if you want to look at it that way ... then CJ isn't far from taking the thrown among all players that take a fair number of shots but never pass. Alas, the streak data from BBR doesn't go back very far.

If I could make millions to play this game, travel the country, see all the cities and heave whenever they passed me the ball, I'd die a happy man.

Guys living the life right now. Chuck Jumpers ladies and gentlemen. Chuck jumpers all year, make millions, chill and golf all summer long.

Man this dudes too lucky.

Re: CJ Miles is *Allegedly* Elk Shyt (12-13 poster boy )

Man, I'm scared for when this Elk shyt returns and kills the teams building chemistry.

Re: CJ Miles is *Allegedly* Elk Shyt (12-13 poster boy )

CJ Miles is hopefully the last of a very low point for quite some time with this franchise.

CJ is a loser in almost every way imaginable on the court. I'm sure he's a nice guy off of it, but he has no court awareness, no self awareness on the court, and no consciousness of what he is doing on the court.

Bury him on the bench, pray that someone needs a salary dump and get this guy out of here.

Re: CJ Miles is *Allegedly* Elk Shyt (12-13 poster boy )

Please, no more Miles. Dion Waiters is very clearly the better player, and I know without a doubt in my mind he won't compete on defense like Gibson or Ellington. With Ellington, he now brings nothing to this team that isn't already covered.

Re: CJ Miles is *Allegedly* Elk Shyt (12-13 poster boy )

Given the hustle and the way he closed out on 3's tonight Ellington looks like he brings more to the table than Miles. It was mentioned that one of the new guys might be traded, I hope it's not Ellington. Much rather see Miles go.

Re: CJ Miles is *Allegedly* Elk Shyt (12-13 poster boy )

Good god, he's so damn bad I'm praying for the Luke Walton/Daniel Gibson return so he can be totally buried. Like, at this point, is it even a question as to who you'd rather see on the court between Luke Walton and CJ Miles? Its not even close. THAT BAD.

Re: CJ Miles is *Allegedly* Elk Shyt (12-13 poster boy )

Can we change the title of Officially?

Re: CJ Miles is *Allegedly* Elk Shyt (12-13 poster boy )

Terrible.
