This thing was Chud all over again. Predicting the same result.

In terms of not getting their top candidate or two, then sure, it's similar. However, Pettine is too prideful and fiery to just roll over and lose 7 straight like Chud did. He would've rallied the troops at some point last year.

Funny thing is that the Brian Hoyer injury could arguably be one of the biggest events in Browns recent history...

If he doesn't get injured, do the Browns lose out, fire Chud and probably hire Pettine?

I get a fucking dream job, why are the Browns a dream job? Explain this to me and I'll change my tune. You think it's a dream job because you would have a slobber party with Banner to get the job. But step back for a minute and tell me how it's a dream job.

My personal view on the Browns are not just from media people. Jesus Christ. Tell me how you know so much about the Browns and why you view them. Your going to tell me that the media has no say what so ever ? All you have to do is watch the Browns for any amount of time you can see how shitty they are ran. Don't need the media for that. Unless now watching the. Personally is the media just to slam my opinion.

After everything , I think this is a really solid hire for the Browns. Well done. Not give the man a few years to get this team turned around.

If they, for any reason fire him after one season, there will not be another coach to ever come to the Browns.

Well the franchise needs to be patient with the coach and give him a chance.

The Browns don't do that and that is what has killed them in this coaching search.

L.O.L. If top ten (jumped them from 22 to 10) is mediocre... what the hell is top 15? Trash?

According to football outsiders... they were the 27th ranked defense in 2012 and the 4th ranked in 2013. Mediocre? Give me a break.

Would say he did a nice job with Kiko Alonso this year as well. Took some nice talent, Byrd, Williams, Dareus, etc and turned them into a solid defense.

What else? Being Rex Ryan's right-hand man when those Ravens and Jets defenses were stout as hell?

Was he my #1 guy? No. But why trash him already? Good grief.
