This is the best lineup we got against lefthanders right now, why most of you are freaking out is beyond me. We put in sipp and raffy to pitch against lefty hitters so why not use our best hitters against lefty pitching. This is baseball to do this, and has been for years.

Agreed. But it still hurts the eyes seeing a part-time player like O-Cab batting 5th.

Indians Designate Travis Buck For Assignment

The Indians announced they've designated outfielder Travis Buck for assignment to clear a 40-man roster spot for new acquisition Kosuke Fukudome.

Buck, 27, hit .228/.275/.342 in 160 plate appearances for the Indians, playing both outfield corners. Buck had signed a minor league deal with the Tribe in December

For fuck's sake people, I'm all for complaining about lineups, but we are playing the fucking Royals. If we don't win, then you can complain.

As for tonight's fireworks show, hope someone is there to record it. Last year's show was amazing. 30 minutes of balls to the wall fireworks from the field, behind the scoreboard, in front of the scoreboard, and of course, my favorite, from on top of the stadium.

Probably not, Chis sucks against lefties and just about the only thing Orlando can do is hit moderately well against lefties. If you don't play Orlando in this situation then it's not even really worth it to have him on the roster. Not saying I necessarily agree with the platoon, but that' probably Acta's thinking.
