God damn them Indians for making a move this early in the off-season!! How dare they try to add more pitching depth & solidify their rotation!! Fire Antonetti, Fire Shapiro, Dolan should sell to Gilbert!!

God damn, I hate some Cleveland fans. I'm so sick of them looking specifically at age & stats that don't matter, instead of looking at why the'd make the move, what they saw in the guy, etc.

But if you're going to disagree, use more than "he's 38 years old", "he sucks", or "what a shock, the Indians get another over the hill veteran to plug in the hole". Plenty of 38 year olds have pitched successfully, "he sucks" doesn't tell me shit, and all the other shit is people bashing the front office for no reason, just to bitch.

If you hate the trade & want to debate about it, fucking bring it!! Don't give me this "well, um... the Indians suck, Derek Lowe sucks, he's 38" bullshit. Fucking debate like you actually know what's going on. Think about why they would make the deal, look at everything involved, then form an opinion. Don't just spew bullshit because the guy is 38.

And your post goes for all you other guys that don't like the deal too. I agree with the trade, so that makes me an "apologist"?! Really?

Meh. I can only speak for myself, but I just think it's a useless trade.

Not throwing a hissy fit, mainly because it's expected from the Indians at this point and I've accepted they'll never do anything useful in the offseason. Anything beyond my initial posts is just me trying to make fun of them to get some entertainment out of it. Shrug.

I think that's a pretty reasonable list of free agents in the 2-5 million range. They're not going to get another center fielder, they'll just move Brantley there IMO.

Not sure where the trade market stands right now.
