Consensus Mock Drafts

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Bob Finnan chimes in with his mock draft:

http://www.news-herald.com/articles...9.txt?viewmode=fullstory#.T-vG_6nIImw.twitter

Highlights:

4. CAVALIERS: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Kentucky, SF, 6-7 1/2, 233: He'll perfect fit with Cavs' culture. He's won at every level. Plays hard and with passion. Lack of top shooting ability might hold him back.

24. CAVALIERS: Andrew Nicholson, St. Bonaventure, PF, 6-9 1/2, 234: Could be the "stretch 4" to replace the departed Antawn Jamison.

33. CAVALIERS: Evan Fournier, France, SF, 6-7, 205: They can stash Euro overseas for a year or two.

34. CAVALIERS: Tyshawn Taylor, Kansas, PG, 6-2, 185: Can bring him in to compete with Donald Sloan for the backup point guard spot.

Syracuse's Dion Waiters could be in play at No. 4 to Cleveland, according to those close to Waiters. That would shake up lottery a bit.

I really like Andrew Nicholson especially if we end up with MKG because he will provide some offense. He's a forward that brings something Tristan Thompson doesn't, a back to the basket game as well as a nice shooting touch. Nicholson and Thompson would a great rotation at the 4.

Given the expense of moving from 24 to 10-13, I think Nicholson should be the target with the 24th pick. I'm not sure he'll be there at 24 but I would invest what I had to in order to get up a few slots to say 18 and grab him.

I absolutely love Finnan's draft but I'd rather try to go after Doron Lamb rather than Fournier. Maybe Ezeli if we are sure we want Flynn.
