When Pat Riley made the on purpose decision a few years ago to lose games and didn't care about making the playoffs, he did so with the specific idea to get the three of them together. He worked hard to make it happen. Does anyone believe for one second that Riley indirectly hasn't been talking to James indirectly for a long time? He has. Riley has his people. James has his people. They have talked, and have talked for awhile now. There is no doubt.

They just see LeBron as exercising his rights in free agency. For them, it's a business and he made a business decision.

Don't forget that Cleveland organizations have received just as much scrutiny as the players from Cleveland fans. If the Cavs organization had traded (or cut) Lebron, there would be just as much effigy towards the organization as there is towards Lebron right now. For every LeFraud, Loozer, Joey Belle & ManRam, there has been Rocky Colavito, Bernie Kosar, Omar Vizquel, where the disgust has been directed towards the organization. All Cleveland fans want is a championship more than anything else and anyone who cheats us toward the final goal will feel the wrath of the fans.

Anyone who says anything negative about Dan Gilbert simply must not be a Cleveland fan. When have we had an owner in Cleveland that cares THIS much? LeBron looks like the bitch in this sense because of how he handled this whole thing.

Gilbert is a Michigan guy. Thats his love, its not Cleveland. He wanted to own the Pistons but ended up with the Cavs. He just lost (i hear) $150mil dollars, basically his investment has gone to shit. All that anger shows. He sounds bitter.

I couldn't be happier about the passion and determination for this city that Gilbert has. I in no way, shape or form think that what Gilbert said wasn't deserved. In fact I believe all of that needed to be said. I just wish he would've went about it a little more professionally. But tensions and emotions were running high and sometimes as humans we get caught up in the moment. I fully stand behind Gilbert and his mission to deliver a championship to this city.

Forget about the fact Dan Gilbert is an owner, and yes, he could have toned the letter down a bit. SO the Fuck what? No, we were specifically talking about this situation. If LeBron quit (As Gilbert says), or committed all these 'wrongs' why the hell did he even want him back? If Gilbert is going to rant and rave about what a bad kid LeBron is, wouldnt he just want him off his team?

We all wanted LeBron back on this team, even knowing what he did in Game 5 and last year in Game 6. Yeah he stabbed us in the back and I'm still pissed about it but I think our owner should have a bit better character about this than your average ticked off fan.

In football you can be cut at the teams discretion and completely cut ties financially. NBA guys get guaranteed money when they sign their contracts. NFL guys if cut before June 1, Teams don't have to pay the contract and it doesnt count against their salary cap for that year. Only guaranteed money NFL guys get is their signing bonus. When a guy gets cut in the NBA that team is obligated to pay the player barring outrageous circumstances.

For example, even after Gilbert Arenas pulled his shit..the Wizards probably wouldn't have been able to void his contract. Gilbert got paid 18million last year...all he did was pull a gun on his teamate..............and still got paid for it...
