How can he respond? What could you possibly say to someone who just spent their night using your rectum as a shoe-box for their gators?

Just a guess, but I think LeBron is furious because he knows the Gilbert letter means the stories are going to start to leak out and there's nothing he can do about it. Very little of it will be directly traceable to Gilbert. Joe Tait's radio interview today is a small sample, yet it's been picked up on lots of stations. This morning I heard Rizzo (I think it was) say that he'd sit in the parking lot at the practice facility and watch the cars go in and that LeBron's friends drove more expensive cars than some of the players did - and they weren't bought by LeBron. He said Gilbert didn't buy the cars, but he gave those guys jobs and paid them well (some of them better than assistant coaches). Just the tip of the iceberg, is my guess. And I'm really not sure I even want to see this all play out.
