if we're going to have to rebuild (we must) to get back to being a good team again, at least do it now. it would be the worst if we ended up with a 7-9 seed for several years in a row

I agree. I'm going to to support the team no matter what and I would much prefer watching our young guys go fall over themselves but bring some excitement and a potential high lottery pick.

Next years draft is going to be VERY top heavy. There are not going to be a lot of elite prospects available, and you're going to be in a position where if you don't have maybe a top 3 pick, at best, you are going to probably want to trade down...

it might keep people in the seats, I guess. Rebuilding now is tough because the franchise's value took a monstrous hit last night, and then Gilbert would lose a lot during the rebuild as well.

Go windy tho! I hope people are able to get through to Gilbert before he makes some sort of big trade to absorb a stupid amount of salary and still hope to compete.

The fact that the owner of this franchise and the fact that most players in the NBA will look at this as a total dick move is exactly why he shouldn't have wrote it.

Its not that I dont agree with the content of his letter, its who wrote it.

I'm looking at it another way. There HAVE to be many NBA players who despise LeBron, who despise his ego and arrogance. Yeah, this letter may turn some off, but all it needs to do is light a fire under the right guy who wants to see LeBron's demise and they will come to Cleveland.

Dan Gilbert didn't say anything that probably 75% of the NBA isn't thinking but will never admit.

I say Add a piece here & there keep the same guys & play for Pride so when #6 comes back he would have to see the Players He left & Pissed on

I wonder if Philly would be willing to trade Iggy to us at the deadline? An AV, Delonte trade would work, and it would get us the first building block towards a contender.
