Depends. How much are you offering? Will Gilbert sell the team?

Let the Gms do their job
People spout lines about owners being the worst GMs like it's a given and beyond disputing. Kind of like the old maxims about how only a fool tries to be his own attorney(which is more true). I think there can be different owners with different abilities. And there are some truly shitty GMs.If I was a GM, I wouldn't just sit back and let the GMs do their job. The whole reason to own a sports team is to have fun being involved.
I don't blame him at all. I would do the same thing and so would you.
Do I think all of decisions are good decisions? No.
But I feel the same way about most GMs too.
As long as Gilbert keeps writing checks and spends like no other NBA owner has spent before on players, he can do whatever the fuck he wants IMO.He's like Mark Cuban. Owns an NBA team. Very passionate about it. Maybe too passionate. Especially to compete like a dynasty (multiple championships).
The only reason the Mavs were able to get as far as they did in 2011 was because Cuban let the gm do most of the job. Gilbert also let Griffin do his job the previous year.
But these owners have a lot of passion. I don't think they'll ever get much further than this because of that.
... But I'll live with it. After all, it's fun to watch a team that can compete, even with a hands-on owner playing arm-chair gm.

The willingness to spend is a lot bigger deal than the meddling, to me. It may not be a wise thing to do, but being the guy that signs the checks he’s earned that right.
In fact, Dan’s willingness to spend so freely was one of the biggest reasons LeBron was willing to come back. He wouldn’t be here without that.
Does that mean we're getting another letter?2018 CAVS = 2010 CAVS
Hahaha. He's going to leave again. Can't make this shit up.2018 CAVS = 2010 CAVS
