I want Blatt gone as much as the next guy but that quote is definitely out of proportion. He basically panicked on a question he had no answer for and tried to deflect it on a technicality. Another sign he is starting to melt because all of his postgame confidence and wits are gone. His sarcastic remarks that used to be hit or miss are now all bricks.

So I'm going to say it myself..Love isn't a max player..he has no defense , and even on the offensive end, I'm not seeing a dominate 4.
Something is wrong with this team and it's not just the coach. You have guys rolling over for the opponent and giving them easy shots..
The mentality of the players who have been here is poor..they are used to losing , and do not have enough pride to lock down on the other team and step their game up.
Some of this is coaching but a lot of it is no will to beat down their opposition.

No excuses, from the media standpoint down to rotation decisions to game plan it looks like Blatt isn't ready for the big leagues. He is condescending in most post game interviews and it back fired on him last night. Thats a game you never play with a potential free agent and cornerstone to your team that you gave the number 1 overall pick for. Every day he reminds me more and more of Mike D'Antoni and not in a good way.

His rotations are crazy. There seems to be little sense in what he is doing. He doesn't look to create favorable matchups or anything.

The team is not playing for him. It's very disturbing that the team looks so uninspired. He needs to step back and question everything that he's doing. His motivational tactics AND his game management are not working.

He has plenty of excuses (injuries, trades, etc.), but it is starting to get to a point where fairly deep into the season, the team looks like a mess.

If we don't show big improvement over the next 10 games, I think you have to start wondering if a change may be useful.

Regardless of what Blatt meant, that Love quote has been picked up today and media outlets are running with it.

This is the first time i have questioned Blatt's job security. This could be the nail in the coffin. The players haven't bought in and now they may not even trust the guy. LBJ must be in his home office all like, "There's the door, budday"

Before the season started I was enamored at all of the possible lineup combinations he could throw at teams for mismatches. I haven't seen 1/10 of some of the good combo's. Each game I'm left scratching my head. It's like this guy wants 2-3 guys in every lineup that don't fit.

his quote regarding love was taken out of context...that shouldnt surprise anyone. he was literally saying that KLove is not on a maximum contract, which is true.

Blatt meant he wasn't a max player yet was definitely a shot at Kevin. Just the way he said it was enough for me.

I understand why if you're David Blatt you don't make that comment, regardless of context, but is he really wrong? I cant be the only one here who watches Kevin Love and feels underwhelmed, game in and game out. The guy puts up numbers, but the impact he leaves on games is minimal. I mean, him and Kyrie alone should be enough to go out there and score a couple wins against the Kings and Sixers of the world with LeBron out. This is just fucking embarrassing.
