DeAndre Liggins Waived

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Some really good play by Liggins recently

Can't wait until Shump comes back and Liggins is once again inexplicably moved from starter to out of the rotation altogether for seemingly no reason

I thought Lue saying he liked using liggins as a starter specifically because he wasn't in the rotation.
having a utility guy who can start is a plus not a negative.

Oh I missed that then

I guess my point is I think Liggins has played his way into the rotation even when Shrimp is back

if it comes between Shump and Liggins playing dead even.. you go with the 10 million dollar guy with the ring

are you playing Liggin s over Korver?

I'm playing him over mctrash and Felder 10/10 times and that wasn't the case the last month when they were getting minutes while liggs was collecting dust

You cant develop a point guard by not playing him.

Lue Runs Liggins/Felder/Mcrae as utility guys. none of them are core rotation pieces.

Neither Felder nor Mcrae average more than 11 minutes a game.

Korver ,Frye, Jefferson is the rotation.

Williams looks like he will be a 4th guy which means the Liggins/Mcrae/Felder minimal minutes split will continue on a smaller scale when shump returns.

I don't really give a shit about developing Felder. We have a d league affiliate if we want to develop him

Liggins is significantly better than Felder and mctrash. He needs to play ahead of them. He needs developed too but the difference is he isn't currently a huge negative out there

That's rather short sighted.

Felder has a higher PER, Assist percentage, Usagem lower turnover % and a lower negative net rating. and completely different role on the court.

I wanna play Liggins for his defense. I don't care about his per. He holds the starters together as a respectable defensive unit

The team plays much better with Liggins as the starter.. I would still play Shump as the starter to raise his value though muhaha.

I disagree. Shump going into the lineup jumpstartred this team. He was playing good defense and hitting open shots. Any player we plug into the starting lineup should look good. You are surrounded by 3 all stars and one of the better bigs in the game with TT.

It jumpstarted him, not the team. I believe we went on a bad stretch ever since he was inserted.

We had won 5 of 6 when he got hurt. The entire team is playing better but he was a big part of that run.
