She's the one who refused the settlement, Lauren Baxley.Has she testified yet?
She testified, ya.

Maybe she should have got a real lawyer and not the Ringmaster of B&B Circus. She's the one who refused the settlement, Lauren Baxley.

I take it Deshaun had another shitty day?Maybe she should have got a real lawyer and not the Ringmaster of B&B Circus.
Not to sound like an insensitive jerk, but she could have stood up and filed a police report or whatever immediately and he probably would be done for good.
No. He played really well actuallyI take it Deshaun had another shitty day?

Don't get in the way of people attacking victims so they can feel better about their team's quarterback. Not sure how much you followed, but she did file a police report, 2 counties refused to bring chargers.
He probably didnt break any laws, just morral ones
"Would she go down on you in a theater"?Don't get in the way of people attacking victims so they can feel better about their team's quarterback.
You know... literally what the piece is about.
Alanis Morissette has another verse to add.

She still signed with the circus. Instead of getting 1 on 1 attention from a lawyer, she’s just one of the clowns. Not sure how much you followed, but she did file a police report, 2 counties refused to bring chargers.

I don't like the notion that anyone who questions her story is attacking a victim. She's a complainant - whether or not she's a victim has not been determined by outside parties.Don't get in the way of people attacking victims so they can feel better about their team's quarterback.

Cool, because that's not what's happening.I don't like the notion that anyone who questions her story is attacking a victim.
I think Robinson's ruling makes it pretty clear that the four cases presented to her (of which I thought Baxley was one of them) most likely happened. Between believing the accusers because of the raw number of accusations, and a judge looking over all of them and deeming that they most likely happened, I think it's pretty shitty for Browns fans on the internet to keep saying "Well it might not have happened!"She's a complainant - whether or not she's a victim has not been determined by outside parties.
Baxley, IMO, is one of the women whose story was questionable and inconsistent, and I'm fairly certain she's also the one that mislead her own therapist.
He said filed a police report IMMEDIATELY.Cool, because that's not what's happening.
What is happening is that people are spewing derogatory accusations that are proven to be false. If they took ten seconds to Google something before pounding away on their keyboards, the world would be a better place.
When a victim filed a police report, and some dipshit on the internet goes "Well, if she only filed a police report, this could've been over and taken care of!" I think classifying that as attacking victims is pretty straightforward.
I don't think Baxley was one of them. Regardless, Sue Robinson's verdict was by the NFL's definition of sexual misconduct, not the legal version. I'm not sure the results are the same in civil court.I think Robinson's ruling makes it pretty clear that the four cases presented to her (of which I thought Baxley was one of them) most likely happened. But pretend every time I used the word "victim," there was an "allegedly" in front of it if you want.
Fair point. I skipped over that part.He said filed a police report IMMEDIATELY.
I thought the 4 that the NFL brought were the 4 that didn't settle (and Baxley was one of the 4 that didn't settle) but I honestly don't know. It's hard to find details for any of the 4 that Robinson saw other than Ashley Solis. I very well could be making an assumption that's incorrect.I don't think Baxley was one of them.
Here's a point where I'm genuinely curious--why does this matter to you?Regardless, Sue Robinson's verdict was by the NFL's definition of sexual misconduct, not the legal version. I'm not sure the results are the same in civil court.
You're free to do so.It doesn't matter to me what an arbiter rules - I personally find her actions during the litigation process questionable, and it makes me question the validity of her claims.
