Diet and Workout Routines

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
finals week, still cant lift 100% so diet is not my priority.

Man, some good foods are out right now..

At my cafeteria, they wrap this footlong in a fuckin pretzel.. It is.. perfect.

Wendy's bacon portabello is out.

Carne Asada fries are California Burritos with no wrapping paper.

Bye!

I normally go to the gym 4 days a week. Start off with 10 mins cardio then a 10 15 min ab workout. Sometime I'll then get a little cardio on the bball court if their isn't a class going. It's normally chest/tris- legs- back/bis-shoulder/forearms. Six, I know about keeping your shoulder blades in and flexing your pecs. This isn't a problem for me down but I've noticed it and want to be able to use my hands when I'm 60. Anyone use gloves wraps?

gloves are a terrible idea, do not use them.

1. they are an extra layer between your skin and the bar which actually makes you more prone to blisters
2. they degrade quickly and become smooth, making it harder to grip the bar, and make you unsafe
3. if they are pretty squishy you are losing force that could be applied to gripping the bar (like squatting in squishy running/bball shoes)

wrist wraps are OK if you use them on your heavy or working sets, but then its easy to train around the injury and instead of healing they more or less stay injured..in my opinion. maybe take a week off from benching and see where you are the next week?

My gym is going to be 24 hours starting in January. Will be an interesting shift.

I've been battling this cold for 2 weeks and not really doing the proper workouts. I also had the urge for sweets. My struggles are a matter of sweets.

@AuxiliaryPie - Thanks for the tip on not wearing gloves. I would be the one who would think that's ok. Not like I'm lifting any heavy weights yet. I think I can only handle the bar. :chuckle: right now.

@Nicky no prob! the best aide in gripping the bar is chalk, its kinda counter intuitive but having dry hands prevents callous tearing and blister forming. wet skin "sticks" to the bar, as it twists your skin will twist with it and tear. aside from that a secure grip is a safer grip :)

so at the end of my bulk i squatted 270 for 3x5 and hurt my back a bit cheating on the last rep or two, so i decided thatd be a good time to cut. now that ive been cutting for a while i am doing high weight, low reps on mon/fri to preserve my strength gainz.. went to squat 275x1 thinking it would be a struggle like my 270 3x5 but it ended up being relatively effortless! gonna go higher next time for sure. what a pleasant surprise

Off Topic, but I have been slightly sick for like 3 weeks in a row. Ebola must have been sitting in my room like the Ax Man (American Horror Story - The Coven reference)

I want to watch shows when I am running on the treadmill but I love my HBO shows/Showtime etc..and you see some yams come out, blows..I don't want the yoga pant brigade thinking I am some sort of creep (even though I called them the yoga pant brigade...)

Training starts in 10 days...I am pissed.

@SixPACK - I've also been sick for the last few weeks. It started with the flu, and then I got better. we had a warm up and it was 50 degrees outside, and the heat in the apartment was on, like it was 20 degrees out. I opened both windows and fell asleep while watching Gladiator. As I'm watching NFL ticket, I realize that I can't breathe (probably inappropriate to use) and I have a full on cold. I've had this hacking cough for the last week and a half as well, and it's most likely my bronchitis acting up, again.

I get the brilliant idea to bake today.

I'm not training for anything, but I have spin class in 5 days.

Also, AHS has been awful the last 2 seasons. I did like the Ax Man though.

yeah, I haven't been coughing up crap or anything, but my nose has been slightly stuffy for 3 full weeks. I will every once in a while feel a tickle in my throat.

It is so annoying.

My long runs outside start on the 27th, I can't imagine how sick/miserable I will feel. I have never been an outside cold runner during the winter. I don't think my lungs are prepared.

Ridiculous.arm still fucked.

Going to go ham with tren. Last resort before surgery

Getting back into it next week. Already got my cutting stack. Time to go hard.

Wrist wraps are a savior for anyone with tiny wrists. The mini gangsta wraps are easily the best I've used so far. My hands would cave backwards under heavy weight and the wraps negate that.

Unfortunately you can't train wrist size..I wish I had bought wraps sooner.

finally quit being a pussy and squatted 300 today, deadlifted 385 too. first time trying either weight (1 rep).. the deadlift took like 15 seconds haha made sure i locked out though
