Best part of the game
lolcavs.gif

This is maybe the greatest gif I've ever seen especially considering their personalities and backgrounds, but for the life of me I can't understand what miles is going for. And I really want to know.

What's becoming clear is that the explanation of Dion's attitude on the court was no joke. He is an intense competitor and all he wants to do is win. He'll get pissed and yell at people when we're losing or they're doing things to hurt the team, and that's not always the best way to go about things...but at the end of the day :)chuckles:) he's all about winning. And when we're winning there's no "attitude" to be found.

I can fuck with that.

That is awesome. Jack starts doing a high step march off the court, I love it. I love it!!!

Gives you a better sense for why Dion would be most upset by Grant's firing.

It would really be awesome if Dion somehow won the Rising Stars game MVP. He for once doesn't have to compete with Kyrie so I'd imagine he might be into it. I'm guessing Beal will get the start over him though.

I hope dion doesn't punch anyone in the locker room at the raising start game :chuckles:

From Thorpe's write-up on the Rising Stars game:

Dion Waiters, Cleveland Cavaliers | Sophomore
In terms of talent, Waiters ranks higher than most guys in this game. He is a powerful and explosive athlete with a highly crafted skill game. He just has not put it together yet, nor has he figured out how to play alongside Kyrie Irving.

Waiters can be an amazing guy to watch, but he is still far more about potential than consistent performance.

Was Thorpe the one who always hated on Waiters in his columns? Or was that someone else?

Yeah, he ripped the Cavs for picking him and has generally disrespected him since he joined the league. Nice to see him changing his tune a bit, and I can't say his assessment of Waiters above is inaccurate. It's actually pretty spot on.
