Personally, I didn't like that interview. That didn't seem like the real Dion Waiters and that guy was a douche in my opinion. Also, a little disappointing that Dion didn't stand up for Cleveland when that dude said he wanted him in Miami or whatever.

I think Dion could tell that the guy was half-serious or just not that basketball savvy. Honestly, the guy talked about Dion and Tyreke teaming up with LeBron in Miami, come on now :chuckles:

Guy doing the interview was giddy. He had a serious man crush on Dion.

He did give a shoutout to how great Cleveland fans are... That's not bad given an interview with a guy who is alllll Philly.

Kyrie is the only one of him Dion, TT, and Bennett who saw anything wrong with Lebron leaving the way he did and doesn't suck up to the heat/wade on or off the court.

For the record, if you watch a series of interviews with Wiggins, you'll see that he seems to be in a similar boat as Kyrie in that regard, just maybe said in a little more politically correct context. KD is his favorite player because of how he performs in crunch time, not Lebron. He grew up enjoying watching Kobe, Vince Carter and AI- once again no mention of the greatest player in the last decade- Lebron. Loves the loyalty Vince Carter displayed to the Raptors. Loves his hometown, has said he wants to stay and build with whatever team drafts him. Watch his interviews the day before the draft they're all over YouTube.

How do you know this? Most of your posts seem like your opinion but you try to pass them off as fact.

How do you know this? Most of your posts seem like your opinion but you try to pass them off as fact.

Dions constantly trying to be buddies with D-Wade on the court, TT's been at Heat finals games cheering for the Heat and partying with Lebron post-game and AB has gushed over Lebron in interviews with no apparent feeling of him having done anything wrong with the way he left Cleveland.

Kyrie did an interview in his rookie year where, when primed with a question on Lebron, went on video saying "Well I mean he's kind of like the home state kid who promised a city that's never won a championship a ring, and then he just kind if left." Their tension around each other has been visible from day 1 even though they may shake hands or high five in the all-star game. You didn't notice Lebron a little thrown off when Kyrie won all-star game MVP? Interrupting the presentation ceremony by giving him instructions on how to properly receive a trophy? Regardless of whether it was in jest or not? Anyhow, that's escalation, not root cause or belief.

Kyrie cringes when he sees Tristan run up to Lebron post-game to say hi to the games best player. Look at the tape from their first year or two.

Now, I didn't watch the most recent video of Dion posted, but it wouldn't surprise me at all that the tone continue to slip.

Kyrie was the only one who, in my opinion, seemed to have stood up for the city of Cleveland and not jump at the first chance to be glimmer and rub shoulders with the shiny superstar. That, in my opinion, is part of what makes him special. It's also part of the reason why reports of the locker room dividing and siding with Dion this year were troubling to have to hear. I love Dion and he's a hard worker who plays hard. But is his ball movement today and helping his teammates out simply done in an attempt to gain their trust to become the top dog on the team? Will the ball movement he's been advocating for stop once he gets his chance to run more ISO plays? I guess that's where the philosophical dilemma of the NBA stands today? Spurs ball movement if you can pull it off and unselfish stars or build around the superstars?

Hmm, and I'd like your take on who really killed JFK....

Some people think we should trade Dion because he doesn't fit or he is redundant... I don't think that's a good idea, Dion is too talented and can create for others. It is valuable to have at least 2 creators in the playoffs, we have seen and experienced what happens when you don't. This guy lives for big games and can't wait to see what he does in the playoffs. Dion also brings toughness and attitude to this team we need, and he can score from anywhere along with getting to the rim at will. I think Dion has all-star potential and he consistently flashed it to end last season while starting. That being said, you don't trade Dion Waiters because he doesn't "fit" the best on our roster currently, you make a talented player like Dion fit.

I just think of if he was an all-star on another team, people would say "Why the hell did the Cavs trade an all-star in Dion Waiters?", and I think it's a pretty weak/lame excuse to just say he didn't fit our roster. You do everything in your power to make a player like Dion fit.

Reason why people like Blatt to be next coach....

Probably not the best example considering that the story told by the government in that one is farther off from the truth than what the media's reporting on LeBron. :chuckles:

I don't mean to get too off topic, but watch 1:30-4:00.
Maybe some of these posts need to be moved?

This seems a very misguided and uninformed take on things. Lebron and Irving have been friends before and after thee eing th decision. Of course Irving has had to seperate himself from Lebron. he is playing in lebrons shadow.

Thompson shares the same agent. Wade happens to be impressed with Waiters.

So since this has become a Dion and a Wiggins thread I decided to search Youtube for Dion Wiggins and this Is what I got at the top.
