lets not repeats the ron harper mistake with Dion.

I also think Wiggins will be hard pressed to beat out Waiters for the 2 guard position.

.

I like Dion, but I'm not going to sit here and say he's a great fit. He's a great talent, no question, but how he fits in with the rest of the crew has always been the question.

Based on results alone, I think the jury is certainly leaning the opposite direction from you.....

A few things, Griff said in the future SG would be Wiggins best position for greatness. So you could see the Cavs let Dion build his value with a big role next year and then trade him for appropriate value.

Also, the problem with the Ron Harper trade was not so much that we traded Ron Harper. It was that we traded him for Danny Ferry

We're going to do exactly that. The 80s-90s Cavs would probably have won a ring if they don't trade Harper. I still hate them for that move. For fucking Danny Ferry. And we will get less than that for Waiters.

And it doesn't matter if Wiggins would beat him out, he was the #1 pick, he will play where they see fit and figure out what to do with the shit like Waiters later.

The problem was that we didn't trade for someone who did the things Ron Harper did.

I really see the front office risking a massive trade to send Dion, TT, and a shit ton of picks to MN for Love in the hopes a lineup of Kyrie Wiggins ?? Love Varajao wins enough to convince him to stay. All of this is regardless of what LBJ does.

I was all excited about a Irving-Waiters-Wiggins line-up but now we're told Wiggins is a two guard. :(

He said if he "finds greatness" it will be at the 2. Which whether that makes any sense or not is irrelevant, because hasn't found greatness yet. He can barely dribble it more than twice without losing it, and I don't know if he has any kind of court vision or passing ability. It's doubtful he ever "finds greatness", so playing him at 3 would be best for him now anyway. But they will do what they want.

Yeah trading Ron Haper was a big mistake. And to trade him for a player who was average to below average his whole career was a killer. I blame that on Gund as there all sorts of rumors why Harper was shipped.

But pre injury Harper was a better player than Dion. I would like to see Dion here, but if they move him, I'm open minded to it dependent on the pieces they get in return and the rest of the offseason moves.

I'm willing to bet anything that Wiggins will play the three for stretches. We're too thin not to.
But if Waiters does get traded, I'm pretty sure it would only be in a package for an All-Star caliber player. So we can't be too upset with that.

Chalk it up as draft night hyperbole or are you going to stand as really believing that?

Am I the only one who found Girffin's use of "finding greatness" interesting?

You're right. I'm sure as long as the D isn't up in him that he can dribble the ball all day. Forgive me.

Your obnoxious level since Embiid got hurt has become unbearable. Can you talk about a player's weaknesses w/o going all the way to the most extreme.

I'm not Wiggins biggest fan but good lord.
