I'd prefer he just go out there and play basketball.

I'd expect him to want to start. Non issue.

He just doesn't need to be making it public.

Don't tell me Dion. Show me.

He's not telling you. He's telling the trolls that are harassing the shit out of him.

Dion Waiters especially susceptible to trolls? He the only player in the league? I don't see other guys on the team making an ass of themselves nightly. I guess the world is just out to get Dion though.

Some people here would just love for Dion to be out here tweeting #BenchPlayer4Life #SixthManBaller

No. Love for him to shut the fuck up about what position he thinks he should be awarded within the team. It does neither himself or the team ANY good.

Not sure I'd call Dion's efficiency very good. It was good in the last 15 games or so, but only slightly passable for the season as a whole.

Well I mean it's 15 games. Of course you can extrapolate that out over an entire career now. Best SG in the league!

I think coach Blatt is going to do wonders for Dion and especially this team. I hope Dion stays.

What i would love is for Dion to not respond to Twitter trolls like 99% of all other NBA players do. Letting them bother him means he's mentally insecure.

I am not a big fan of Dion but with David Blatt in here I think we cannot pigeon hole him anymore as a ball stopper iso type of a player. If ever he will be traded I don't want it to be now because I think he could net a sginificant value if he is plugged in Blatt's system and produce. As for using social media to voice your opinion on starting is another issue and that is immature for a "professional" athlete.

Or it just means that he's lacking in maturity. Something common with young players...

I love Waiters and on multiple occasions let it be known id favor a Kyrie trade over a Waiters trade but if it's Waiters or K Love you do that 10/10 times. Love is a once in a decade talent at PF like Kyrie and LeBron. You make that happen just about anyway you can.

Waiters I believe can become a star but at 6' 3 and unable to guard his position hell never influence games like Love does

Trust me, the hold up in any Kevin Love trade isn't that the Cavs refuse to part with Dion.

He already guards his position.

And are we doing that thing again where we round down our player's height but still say Kevin Love is 6'10''?

Maybe we should see what Waiters can do in his 3rd year, in the starting role that he clearly earned during his 2ns season, before we trade him?

It's not like the Wolves or their fans are knocking down the Cavs door to trade their all-star PF for our young enigmatic scoring guard

Love has as much playoff expirence as Waiters

noone from the Cavs has told Dion he is coming off the bench. He isnt on twitter making an effort to convince the organization . he is on twitter responding occasionally to pople trying to convince others that Dion can not win as a starter. something he disagrees with.

He did the same thing last season.. why because Mike Brown told him he was the starter and he was the incumbent starter for this team.

What I do know is that when Griffin went into that locker room and let them know Dion wasnt getting traded and to lock off the locker room bs and play as a team . they responded and most of the issue speople are complaining about went away before Waiters returned to the starting lineup.

Dions college history of playing off the bench and peoples fasciniation with OKC using HArden as a 6th man make some people feel entitled to cast him as a 6th man and get mad when Dion or anyone else suggest otherwise.

now Dion cant guard the 2 position when he spent alot of time guarding guys 6'7 to 6 '9 . its is laughable at best.

As of right now until David Blatt announces otherwise. Dion is a starter for the Cleveland Cavaliers and he has every right to believe he is/will be and he has every right to promote himself on his tweets.

as far as what other players tweet. im suggesting you avtully start following other NBA starters around th eleague.. youll be surprised how much and what their tweeting instead of assuming they dont.

It also amuses me that people think that Minnesota has to do squat. they can keep him and walk away with nothing if they want but they obviously have placed a value on the bird rights and one season of love and have not seen an offer worth that value.

pme thing Minnesota does not want to do is suffer any backlash from ticket holders upset that they dont feel the team did everything to keep Love
