More stinkers than quality games. Kind of like a 5th rotational pitcher, he's just giving them a good quality start tonight.Dion is capable of putting games up like this. That's never been the problem. The problem has always been doing it on a consistent basis.
people seem to have short term memories. I can regurgitate stats and production as well as other things to support what i stated but there is really no point to it. 30 games production to 140 games would indicate this is an overall slump by Dion as an anomoly not what he is.No he didn't.
Yea, who cares if shoothing guards that shoot a ton can't actually shoot. No biggie.

Dion was reinstated as a starter last season and the teams fg% shot up and then came back down once kyrie returned. Kyrie showed poor team leadership skills on the court last season anyway you look at it. at least Dion looked to get his teammates involved.
anyways I was trying to put things in context. shoulda known better.
Im still not sure what Kyrie has to do with Dion anyways as one is a superstar talent point guard and the other is not.people setting the expectation that Dion should perform as well as Kyrie or be an abject failure is what made Dions stay in Cleveland all the more absurd

So lets try and be a bit more honest about dion so those that want to truly follow him don't have to sift through all the unneeded hate.
It probably has to do with ball movement. If he's playing the 3, chances are there are 2 people who can pass next to him, which I've always felt is where he's at his best, in an offense that moves the ball.Fair enough -- not much point in posting just to bash him.
He had a good game starting last night, and was listed as the starting 3. I remember his numbers here when he was considered the 3 -- mostly based on who he is guarding -- were pretty good as well. I wonder if it is a statistical oddity, or if it actually means something.
Lol the token good game for a volume shooter
/yawn
Sun shines on a dogs ass every now and then
Why not? He did it last season especially after the all star break when he was able to play his game and was a consistent scorer for us.
Post All-Star Break Dion Waiters: 19.2 PPG on 45.2% from the field, 37.7% from 3, and 74.1% from the line in 33.0 MPG.
