Dion Waiters

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
people seem to have short term memories. I can regurgitate stats and production as well as other things to support what i stated but there is really no point to it. 30 games production to 140 games would indicate this is an overall slump by Dion as an anomoly not what he is.

Dion was reinstated as a starter last season and the teams fg% shot up and then came back down once kyrie returned. Kyrie showed poor team leadership skills on the court last season anyway you look at it. at least Dion looked to get his teammates involved.

anyways I was trying to put things in context. shoulda known better.

Im still not sure what Kyrie has to do with Dion anyways as one is a superstar talent point guard and the other is not.people setting the expectation that Dion should perform as well as Kyrie or be an abject failure is what made Dions stay in Cleveland all the more absurd

I'd really love the see the statistic that somehow shows Dion was a "better on court leader than Kyrie Irving." Those are your words.

Btw that was your quote. Which is funny considering later in this same post you say, "I'm still not sure what Kyrie has to do with Dion anyways as one is a superstar talent point guard and the other is not."

So after comparing the two in a prior post and stating Dion showed he was a better leader, you then complain about people comparing Dion to Kyrie. Ooook.

Dion Waiters' TS% as a member of the Thunder is .437. He's in Dajuan Wagner territory right now. He's lost on the floor right now.

...It's bad that I find it kind of funny, isn't it?

I used him in NBA2k 15 against my friends who has no idea how to play D yet always says tonight is the night he will win. Anyways I lit him up with the Thunder for fun and to play as Dion. Well that led me to the fact that Dion is lost in the NBA in real life at this point, However sad to know he could be as good as he was in my game. Oh well glad he is gone and hopes he gets it together one day.

Am I the only one who thinks part of the reason Dion is doing so bad this year (and trust me, I've never thought too highly of Dion but he's just playing like absolute garbage) is because he's a little overweight?

I really think it causes him to get a little lazy and shoot long jumpers rather than getting to the rim. I mean he used to be able to get up like the dunk on Birdman his rookie year and now it seems like he can barely dunk.

This trade is the best trade since the Clippers pick

Being an undersized two guard who has inconsistent finishing and shooting and suspect defense has a short shelf life in this league. Youth has its limits and that is the only thing going for Dion right now.

Oooooor he should just realize he is a pg and have his agent work in shipping him to a team that needs one.

Dion is 6'4, 225. He's not undersized. He's average.

But yeah, he's too streaky a shooter and finisher at the rim to be anything more than a role player off the bench at this point. If Dion doesn't begin to understand that, he's not going to last very long in the NBA.

Yet another problem... PG is by far the most loaded position in the league right now. Starting gig? Good luck with that.

Waiters with only 9 minutes logged in the game so far with the 3rd quarter almost over. Looks like Reggie and Roberson are taking more of his minutes (unless he's hurt?).

He checked in when he normally does...

Only reason his minutes are so low today is because Reggie is on fire and Brooks is going with the hot hand. It's not hard to understand...stop trying to make something out of nothing.

Damn dude chill out. I was just wondering.

Dion was 2-4 with 3 assist and a steal in the first half with a+14. I highly doubt his playtime was a reflection of his play. Dion was put in the starting lineup when Durant was out. OKC sees him as a positive acquisition at this point.

So did Indy when they first got TRich.

It was a fantastic trade for the Browns until they blew the pick they received for TRich on Manziel
