I think Brooks has taken the right approach to Dion. If he is in a shooting slump, its better to get him to work on his finishing skills at the rim. It can push his dribble drive skills that will make him a more effective player. If Dion focused on dribble drive aspect of his game more than the step back inside the key, they end up with a better player. Hopefully Brooks can drive in the idea of taking high percentage shot to Dion and it will round him out to being a consistent player, curbing in him being so hot and cold.
