This is incredible. This is either boldest ether to a franchise that pissed you off, or it's the most aggressive public negotiating tactic I've ever seen.

At this point, I see almost no downside.

If we get Wade (assuming he's down for the Paul Pierce role), we get a TREMENDOUS upgrade on the wing, the Miami fans who trolled and gloated over us for four years will be devastated, and the rest of the NBA will be trembling even harder than they were before. Vegas already has us as the 2016 title favorites. They may stop taking bets if we get Wade.

And if we don't get him? Who cares! He's just one of multiple great targets we can get with our remaining assets, and it will have been a hilarious month of Heat fans just sweating it.

The luxury tax money doesn’t go into Wade’s pockets, which is the main concern here when it comes to money...not the luxury tax.

More so because he would be wearing the shirt of the team his son is on right? Also that slip up when Wade said "When I was in Miami" Hmmm... I thought no way never. I can't imagine LA would actually want him, unless it's on a one year deal. I thought their whole plan is try to get a big time guy in 2016 when Kobe is gone?
