I mean not necessarily. A la LeBron/Love, he was always opting out. He's been very clear he wants a new, long-term contract.Wow, this pretty much marks the end of the Wade era in Miami. Wondering what teams would consider him?
Why do I feel like a part of your summer just diedYep.. Well, we might as well close this thread. That's over and done with as there is no way in hell he'd come here for the mini-MLE and once he becomes a free agent, we can no longer trade for him.

Here's to hoping Wade signs for the max with Miami, or peaces out for somewhere else (preferably out west). Because fuck Miami.

Very curious to see where he goes. Especially if LMA goes to the Lakers, and surprises everyone.
New York? Wade seems too smart for that, but they'd probably pay him.
This might be a gigantic bluff by Wade, and he's going to come back anyways, because his other options don't look that appealing either.
So I give it a one percent chance of happening but this does open up the ultimate fu to Rileyif Wade says f it f u lol. Again one percent chance don't close the thread just yet lolI kinda saw it coming on draft night.
When we didn't do anything with the pick (trade it for another pick); then I came to the realization that there was 0% chance we'd have anything of value to trade to the Heat.
If we had the pick+future pick, or several future picks, then it'd make sense. But just trading Haywood+Miller makes very little sense at all.
