Cavs didn't look so hot then; today we're going to the Finals.

Today, Wade and Riley are off by a pretty large sum. I could see Wade angling a S&T to Cleveland, or walking to another team.

He's missed 1 playoff game in the last 4 years. How many games did Kyrie miss this playoffs alone?
 
I like Wade to fill Shawn Marion's role next season after Marion retires... You know, sit on the bench, become inactivated for 2 weeks during the regular season for an injury despite playing minimal minutes.... Plus I wouldn't mind seeing Gabrielle Union court side at the Q.

Did you actually watch those games last season? Yep, he was on the court, but you could have replaced him with a card board cutout half the time with how much he was taking off plays. The Heat were constantly playing 4 on 5 on the defensive end because of Wade. He is a very old player for his age.

As for the people talking about PER, it is a stat doesn't measure things like defensive intensity. You know, the thing that is winning us games this post season. Plus, he is never gonna to take a cut to play here, and I sure as hell don't want to hand him any more rings. I do not like the player or the person. He plays dirty on the court, and has no issues with trying to hurt other players intentionally. I don't want him any where near this team.

I am serious I would quit watching basketball if we had wade. This is a different team and Wade has no place on it.

Didnt see the Wade led Heat make it to the playoffs.
I dont like the Way Wade plays, The cheap shots he takes or his complete lack of class that he has consistently displayed over the years.

btw theres alot of fans who dont embrace james since his return and probably will not unless he bring s a title to Cleveland because that is the promise he bailed out on.

We can't pay him.

By the time he would be willing to come here on financial terms we could agree on, he'd be 36+ years old.

I don't want an old ass, bum knees, D-Wade on this team.

Yes, I watched the playoffs last year. He was kind of a no show in the Finals, but you think the Heat would have made the Finals without D Wade? Stop acting like Lebron had no help last year, they still easily went through the east.

Isn't it pretty much impossible to get Wade here through S&T? Love, and Thompson, Shump, and JR is a lot of money, plus KI's extension kicking in.

If we had to be under 85 million, we would have to basicqlly gut an NBA finals team... For yhe MLE, absolutely though. Talented guys aren't exactly begging to come to Cleveland every season.

Teams can always make a trade that sends out more salary then they bring in. We covered all the bases in the LaMarcus Aldridge thread where we demonstrated the various scenarios in which we could S&T Aldridge while keeping Love/Irving/James.

Again, so long as we send out more than we bring in.

Haywood + Miller + Harris + 2 firsts = ~14.5M

Wade Ask?:
16.1 / 16.1 / 16.1 = $48.03

Cavs Offer:
14.4 / 15.2 / 16.34 = $46.04M (trade and then extend*)
*Otherwise, Wade could be extend-and-traded but limited to 4.5% raises.

Heat Offer?:
16.1 / 10? / 10? = $36.1M

Cavs could, in theory, make this trade giving up nothing more than Haywood, Harris and two firsts.
