Eastern Conference Finals GAME 1: Toronto cRaptors @ Cleveland Cavaliers May 17th 2016 8:30pm

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The sooner some of you stop caring what the sports media thinks about the Cavs, or anything really, the happier you'll be.

Cavs were only going to get credit if they beat Miami, and not because Miami is good, but because these same media members said Miami was good. So therefore they made up their minds who the good teams in the East were before they actually played in the playoffs.

But who cares? This is why bitching about the Warriors path being easy never made sense. You play who you play. If you win a title, your path means jackshit and no one will remember if it was easy or hard 5 years after the fact.

Great win tonight. I was in Loudville and the fans were really into it. You had your usual complaining about refs, but as a general rule, everyone was really positive. Cavs team is clearly tight as a unit. Best part was, as we were leaving the garage, everyone was giving the Raptors fans shit. The highlight being when cars started blaring "Born In The USA" as Raptors fans walked by.

This was like the JV team going against the varsity: I knew the Cavs were onto something once Frye started getting playing time and Love/Shump/Irving getting healthy but damn that offense is like having a Gatling gun versus single shot rifles.

Their like the SA team from a few years ago with the incredible ball movement mixed in with maybe the best shooting 4/5 combo in Love/Frye. Not sure how you shut it down: Detroit may have had the best tools??? Multiple mobile physical forwards with a shotblocker and a great defender in KCP outside.

I thought this would be an easy win but, damn, not like it was. Cleveland all but shook off the rust in about 3 minutes of game time. And to think the offensive onslaught of 55% was all mid range jumpers and paint points. This squad only made 7 3s and still won by 31 points.

Damn near embarrassing for the Toronto Raptors.

Also like the fact Cleveland was +22 on the boards, show that hustle.

Casey sounded like a bumbling fool in his postgame comments, by the way. It essentially amounted to “We’re not used to the Cavs playing fast. We’re not at that game speed yet.”

What the hell do these people have in their scouting reports?

How the hell does a pg only get 8 points and whoever pays Derozan is a fool

I dont get kyle lowry instead of shooting all those contested 3s he should do that little spin dribble fadaway he actually makes that shot

Here's Lowry..
