E3 2018: Fallout 76 Lets You Build Portable Bases
You'll be able to build portable bases in the new Fallout.

"In the video clip shared during the press conference, we got to see the player laying down walls and decorating the base with pool tables, toilets, and other household objects. Your CAMP can also be picked up and relocated, allowing you to move your base anywhere in the world."

Okay, so it is most definitely like the survivor PVP games.

What makes you say that? I didn't get that impression at all. This looks like multiplayer Fallout 4 with added crafting and enforced Hardcore/Survival mode. All the talk of this being like Rust or DayZ; I don't think that's going to be the case at all... More like the mods Frost or Dust.

Now, if they can make this a little more like how Sea of Theives

... not sure what you mean there?

stripped the boring aspects like always having to eat or take a shit; this game could be really fun.

Nah.. Eating, food, water, etc... that's a huge part of Fallout. In the original Fallout, chems, disease, etc were major factors in the game, sometimes truly fucking up your run... Fallout New Vegas' hardcore mode is the only way to play FO:NV, IMHO because it limits the ridiculousness you can pull off otherwise and makes simply surviving in the game at least moderately challenging.

Besides, they didn't go through all the trouble of introducing crafting, farming, crops, growing vegetation, etc just to remove Survival/Hardcore mode.

Mass Effect???
The first two were good. 3 apparently had a bad ending(never played it), and Andromeda pandered to SJW's, was riddled with bugs, horrible animations, terrible dialogue and script, and had a very empty open world.

Andromeda was so bad they put the series on ice.

Mass Effect???

I agree with @The Human Q-Tip 's list... I'd put Mass Effect 1 above RDR, but as a franchise, Fallout, Elder Scrolls -- those games are better than the ME franchise for sure. Half-Life was literally a perfect game. KOTOR 1 & 2... My goodness...

But that's no shade on Mass Effect .. I fucking love that game.

You had to maintain your radiation levels, but food wasn't required to survive. It was to get your health up when you took damage. In survivor games if you don't find food... you die from starvation.

I’ll take 1-3 over any RPG ever. Even with the awful ending the experiences through the entire series were like nothing in any game before.

RIP SHEP.

No this game is meant to be a survival game like Day Z/etc.

Im not sure there will be a main campaign or just various quests.

The bolded is not true.

In Fallout New Vegas Hardcore mode and Fallout 4 Survival mode you absolutely must eat to survive. There are different levels of hungry ranging from Peckish to Severe Starvation. In severe starvation you will take massive damage every few minutes until you find food -- meaning, unless you eat, you will die.

You also need water, and sleep; and without both, you'll also die.

Diseases can effectively end your run. Getting certain illnesses requires antibiotics or you are royally fucked.

That's Fallout NV and FO4 with the Survivor mode turned on. I'm assuming 76 will have these modes on by default since they're effectively standard for most high level players, AFAIK.

You'd take Mass Effect 3 over The Witcher 3, KOTOR, GTA V, Red Dead Redemption, Dragon Age: Origins, or Fallout: New Vegas?

So, we know you can pack up your base in a portable device known as c.a.m.p. My guess is you scavenge the land looking for parts to build up your base, craft weapons, and al ot of the good stuff will be in dangerous areas, where you can team up with people, or fuck them over sea of thrives style.

Okay, I see where you're coming from. I didn't play in survival mode, so I didn't know that. You're probably correct then.

Only in this game you won't lose progression and your shit wont be raided when you go to work or do other things.

The first game was my favorite as far as story and rpg elements go. I had a lot of fun with the second one also. I never got around to playing the third game.

But according to who?

I saw the Reddit rumors about that but they date back awhile; and I don't see any evidence in the trailer that this is true. I think "Survival" likely means "Survival Mode" which already exists in the Fallout 4 engine. I don't think this will be anything like DayZ or Rust, at all...

My guess is that this game will look and feel very much like Fallout 4, it's just forcing you to play online with people (or literally as the last man on Earth in solo mode, which sucks). But if there is truly no single-player campaign, then I likely won't buy the game. That would be awful.
