Korver was a +10 because he just so happened to be on the floor when wade and green went off.

Lebron was a -7 and TT was a +7 GTFO of here with that plus minus BS.

Go ahead and point out Korvers playoff success. I know you don’t want to believe it just because he so happens to be on your favorite team but the man isn’t good in playoffs. Hell we spent 2 years talking about it after JR killed him.

One game where an all-time great shooter gets hot, and another game where he was fine before BREAKING an ankle...

He's a three point shooter that takes insanely tough shots. Looking at just his numbers aren't really going to do him justice.

Wanna hear something interesting? In the 2 games we've lost over the last 20:

@Indiana - Korver = 22 minutes, 3 points, 3 rebounds, 0-3 3PG.
@Milwaukee - Korver = 23 minutes, 2 points, 2 rebounds, 0-4 3PG.

Could be a coincidence. But I'd be more inclined to suggest that those factors go hand-in-hand.

Really shows you how important Korver is to this team - if he's knocking down deep balls, we're basically unstoppable.

Makes far more sense than that "if Crowder gets 10+, Cavs win" nonsense, anyway.

You realize the Cavs literally designed an entire defensive scheme to focus on Korver when he was on those Atlanta teams right?

He was that impactful that we literally had a scheme that targeted him and smothered him every game.

Korver had really really good playoff runs in Utah, Chicago, Atlanta.

He was even solid for us last year. Despite being shoehorned in, battling a foot injury, after only a few months on his new team....he still shot almost 40% from 3 with a TS% of 62%. He missed ONE shot in game 3 of the NBA finals, and wasn't the only reason we lost that game(we blew a sizeable lead late).

Feel free to die on that hill of cherry picking his few low moments over a very long and successful career.

Go ahead and call him not clutch for missing a few shots tonight...but when you look at his stats for the rest of this year he's been historically awesome in the fourth quarter.

You're talking out of your ass.

Korver has been struggling a bit lately. His 3P% has been steadily declining.

TT will do that to you.

@FrontPageNews As far as Krvers lack of playoff success ... what? he has been a good playoffs performer, you know who is absolutely abysmal and a real choker? JJ Redick

Criticizing Korver is the last thing that needs to be done. We would have lost so much more games if we didnt have him.

Korver has come thru in the 4th so many times this year that I'm not worried about a couple of misses to end the game. It just gets magnified because of game 3 from last year but he's been darn good for us to finish games

We should probably give Frye some initial bench minutes rather than TT. Frye and Korver benefits each other and helps Wade and Green open up their needed space.

I think you are right here. Establish the 3 and then let TT come in if you want. The same thing allows Wade to play closing minutes with Green

Also Korver has won so many games already this year. No biggie tonight. They threw him off rhythm with great d. LeBron lost the game with that lost turnover anyway. Hard to criticize him either. Also TT lost the game too when he broke the bench's amazing rhythm by not going hard at the rim.

Fucking Liggins shut his ass down. He had one job and he got it done, deny Kyle the ball and stick to him like glue. But Korver was a little off as well. Shit happens.

Korver had an off night. Nothing wrong with that.

However, Lue needs to recognize when some guys just don't have it and go another route.

I actually think we would have been better off bringing Jose back in the game with LeBron.

Given the tempo and team we were playing that would have been a good night to have a player like Shump.

He was only 0-1 from three before the last three and a half minutes. You have to give a shooter like Korver a longer leash than that.

Unless you think Lue is psychic, in which case he knew Korver was going to miss three good looks late, and should have preemptively taken him out.

I mean, shit, sometimes the shots just don't go in. No one is at fault. And if Korver's last three, which practically hit the net before coming out, had gone in, no one would be trying to pin blame.

I agree. I'm hard on Lue a lot. But there is literally no one on the team and very few in the entire league that I would like to have on the court to take a 3 late in the game over Kyle Korver.
