I can't respect his terrible defense and shot selection. His closeouts are ass, he jumped 10 feet in the air at Conley which allowed him to hit the dagger. Can't pass well, can't shoot well, can't defend well, fuck he can't even think well it seems. He's awful.

He had 6 points in 35 mins. If MB is going for the "guy who does so much that doesnt come up in the box score", there's no reason to not flip flop Delly's mins with him.

The ONLY reason Jack gets the absurd amount of PT he does is because of the contract he has. That's it. No rational-minded basketball observer could watch Jack play and think he deserves 30+ mins night in and night out. At best, he's a mediocre backup PG right now. Honestly, I'd take Shaun Livingston from last year over him if I needed another PG

Why did Jack hedge so much trying to double team Randolph with the shot clock running down towards the end of the 4th? I don't know if it's Jack's fault or Brown's fault, but I don't know how you can get beaten by the same play twice in a row, especially when you call a time out in between. You don't trust TT to guard his man for two more seconds? It just seems like a really dumb strategy.

Jack's always been a bad defender. The only thing recently is his shot hasn't been falling. He hit some good shots in the Toronto game. Going forward I expect to see jack continuing to get back to normal as the guards come back and his minutes get reduced.

The cavs are 3-4 with out waiters and Miles. Not sure they win those 3 with out Jack. Ya'll want to put way too much pressure on delly. He's struggled with his role since the move to become a primary ball handler and further pressure is not warranted. It's also heaping more offense on kyrie who's having to take it every time as it is.

Jack sucks. He plays shit for 10 games. He then pulls out a an ok game and followed by an excellent game. You become optimistic that he has turned the corner, and then he plays shit again.

I don't think its all on Jack. He is reportedly hurting since training camp and he's been thrown into a role that he didn't plan to play.

Regardless, I don't see how Mike Brown can look at his perfomance on the court, especially D, and not play Sergey a little. Sergey may not be a good defender yet, but he plays with a lot of energy and hustle.

Maybe after he finally played in Oracle again and saw the old fans, maybe he needed that for closure? Now maybe he will start playing like he did with Golden State? Wishful thinking :chuckles: Although he did look better against Golden State, more confident in his shot.
