Farewell to Jarrett Jack

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Re: Quiet, but deadly offseason move by Cavs — Jarrett Jack

Disrespectful move by JJ there... I could be wrong, but wasn't there a game in the preseason where JJ told a rook from the opposing team not to do something like that? I'm not really sure it was Jack, but if so, it would be pretty funny after what he just did...

Re: Quiet, but deadly offseason move by Cavs — Jarrett Jack

Shades of Ricky Davis tonight. Yeah, we won, but... cmon. Dribble the ball.

Re: Quiet, but deadly offseason move by Cavs — Jarrett Jack

Great move, I can see Beal dropping forty on us now.

Re: Quiet, but deadly offseason move by Cavs — Jarrett Jack

Sick of this guy. I was clearly deluding myself when I thought he would bring valuable "veteran leadership." Terrible shooter. Blinders on at all times. Bad defender. Dumb decisions.

Man, what a rough contract... and we're 10 games into year 1.

No idea what's happened to him. His leadership is just out the door right now. He's not playing hard. Like you said, he's making dumb, unveteran-like decisions. And then that last play to top it off.

Re: Quiet, but deadly offseason move by Cavs — Jarrett Jack

jack is horrible. Look at a team like the pacers, They go out in the off season and sign a veteran back up Cj Watson. He is signed for the min and places very nice for a back up. He is a PASS first point guard.

Re: Quiet, but deadly offseason move by Cavs — Jarrett Jack

Livingston: 21 minutes per game, 8.5 PPG, 59% FG, 3.1 APG, 0.9 TO... makes 1,27 millions this season

.......Jack: 26 minutes per game, 9.8 PPG, 39% FG, 3.4 APG, 2.5 TO... makes 6,30 millions this season

 :banghead:

Re: Quiet, but deadly offseason move by Cavs — Jarrett Jack

I really don't think Livingston would have played here for that type of money though. Could be wrong, but I doubt it.

In that case,

Livingston: 21 minutes per game, 8.5 PPG, 59% FG, 3.1 APG, 0.9 TO... makes 6,30 millions this season

.......Jack: 26 minutes per game, 9.8 PPG, 39% FG, 3.4 APG, 2.5 TO... makes 6,30 millions this season

Yeah, propably not. It's obvious he wanted to play for a contender at this point in his career, unless we would have broken the bank.
Just watched some highlights of him with the Nets, his game sure can be a beauty to watch. Total opposite to JJ right now.

Jack should at least teach the organization going forward to be skeptical of handing out multi-year deals to career journeymen that have a big season in their walk year.

Jack has played pretty terribly but you realize he wasn't exactly signed to be a star player. He was signed for the locker-room. Most of Jack's value won't be seen on the court. That isn't to say that I'm defending him, but you can't just have a ton of young guys. You need vets. Jack is one. I'd love to add a couple more.

Re: Quiet, but deadly offseason move by Cavs — Jarrett Jack

Jack didn't just have a big season in his final year. Sigh. He's been a good player his entire career.

That may be true, but 7 teams in 7 years is a red flag as far as I'm concerned.

What did he do? I missed it.
