I get the feeling this guy drove his kid hard! Can you imagine him yelling on the sidelines at his 12 year old?

For the Cavs, this could be useful. If Mike Brown ever gets frustrated, he can just tell Karasev, "If you don't shape up, your dad's on the next flight!" I bet there will be some shots of him yelling at his son from the crowd next year.

The shot he hits at 30 seconds in makes me very happy. A 19 year old who can already make that type of shot with his off hand? Yikes.

Even more exciting than the off handed finish to me was his passing ability. He looks like a guy that makes the right pass to get teammates shots. Having a SG/SF who can move the ball around is huge benefit especially when the rest of our back court is so good finishing at the basket.

I hope Andy plays healthy for the rest of his career here. All Sergey Karasev (passing) highlights show how much he rewards good cutters and Andy is one of the best big men to cut and create space for himself. On offense, they should be a very good fit. So stoked for the Cavs drafting this guy.

Get bulking Sergey. I'm donating a dollar to RCF for every game our starting lineup doesn't include Gee or Clark, and you're the only guy who can make that happen.

Minutes are going to be extremely difficult for him to come by this season as he is theoretically going to be the last regular on the bench by the time opening tip-off comes around I suspect.

From the videos I have watched, he appears willing, but he is also young. He has nice length, but lacks strength and lateral foot speed. He is only 19, so he should continue to get stronger, and I think having a coach like Brown will really help to get him going in the right direction.

Most scouting reports I have read said that any struggles defensively don't stem from a lack of effort. I have confidence Mike Brown will get him to where he needs to be.

Agreed. I don't see how he plays many minutes unless hes much better than anticipated or we suffer significant injuries or we full on devolve into a tank again by early January.

I think this guy is better right now than people are giving him credit for. He's very smart in playing with a high IQ, doesn't force anything while playing within himself, and can spread the floor and put his teammates in scoring positions. I hope he gets 20 mpg eventually between the 2 & 3 spots.
