The lack of minutes for Karasev is mind boggling.

Considering he was brought in as a young guy without an NBA body, and that the plan was to give him a year of practice and weight work I don't think it is very mind boggling.

Throw in the fact that our backcourt is extremely deep with, Kyrie/delly/waiters/JJ/CJ and it is pretty obvious that he won't be getting minutes. Now that CJ and Dion are out tonight it is one of his realistic chances of getting decent minutes.

Karasev is someone we should look to contribute in 2 years or so, anything now is just gravy. Can't wait to see that buttery stroke nightly though, lets hope he as good as we think he can be.

Yeah I noticed him in the huddle after they announced the starting lineups. Hopefully he gets a chance against Toronto. I still have high hopes for him...I think it's just a matter of him getting a chance and getting used to the pace of play.

His official height and weight is now listed as 6'7" and 196, and he's twenty years old. He needs minutes. Considering that the plan was drafted by the previous GM and the possibly lame duck coach, I'd say the time is now more than ever.

He is going to make mistakes, that is part of being young. Wish he had a chance to grow from those mistakes earlier this year! Now, since we are in a playoff run Brown will be hesitant to use him.

Time for Griffin to impose a minimum minutes for karasev per game to mike brown at least till Dion comes back.

Had his chance to do that by simply trading Jack away. Chose not to. Doubt he does it now.

I agree that tonight's minutes distribution was very predictable and unfortunate.

When you have a chance to play a guy that will be out of the NBA in 18 months and will never wear a cavs uniform again after this year over your First round pick who needs time to grow, you have to do it.
