Fastlane Tonight - in Cleveland!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So is there any way for the WWE to salvage a John Cena vs. Seth Rollins title match at Summerslam? I'm assuming it's going to be a champion versus champion match, and I just really can't think of a way they win with this match. If Cena wins, he's going to get booed out of the fucking building, and those boos could spill over and ruin the main event (Lesnar vs. Undertaker, probably). If Rollins wins, what the fuck was the point of having Cena retain the US Title only to lose it a month later to a guy who already has the top title in the business? Rollins doesn't need the US Title. Owens, Cesaro, or Rusev, though? Any of those three could have seen a career boon by taking that strap from Cena, especially Owens and Cesaro (as Rusev already had a recent dominant run with the strap).

It just seems like terrible booking either way. How easy would it have been to have Cena drop the title to Owens, then come out on Raw and challenge Rollins? Cena could have admitted he lost the US Title, but said that, unlike Rollins, he was a fighting champion and didn't run from challengers like Rollins has. I don't think Cena should be in the main title picture at all right now, but if they're going to force him on us, that would have been the way to do it, as it wouldn't have buried a mid-carder at the expense of giving Cena a title shot like the current booking is doing.

Cena should lose the belt before summerslam and take on rollins in summerslam.
but now they had Ambrose attacking Rollins after a win against cesaro.....
Ryback and Rusev would be a good feud in my opinion.
Heck vacate the IC and have Rusev or Owens fight for that and send the miz and big show after cena.

and what ya gonna do about Randy Orton. He should be feuding for one of three titles.

The best two tag teams.. Wyatt and harper and Reigns and ambrose arent even being used.

Heck have Rollins beat the shit out of Cena and run in Barret for the win or something during one of his open challenges or distract Cena and cause a loss. whatever make it Rollins fault Cena loses the Belt.

This configuration of Rollins, Ryback and Cena doesnt work as the belt holders. doesnt work.

fix it now before summerslam

So, this is weird but true... aside from Paul Heyman, the king of the mic by a wide margin, maybe Bray Wyatt and (sorry @Jack Brickman) John Cena, the best the WWE has on the mic is probably Wade Barrett. Am I missing someone?

Kind of amazing when you consider at one point the WWE had an embarrassment of riches on the mic - The Rock, Austin, HHH, Taker, Mick Foley, The Godfather, New Age Outlaws... and I'm forgetting a few others.

Man, I really miss heel CM Punk...

Hard for me to consider Cena as one of the best guys on the mic because every one of his promos is fucking identical for the past few years, and he's not charismatic enough to carry that like Austin was. Owens is better on the mic than Cena is. Wyatt is really good. Stephanie is amazing. Heyman is obviously incredible. Barrett was good when they gave him something to do (his current gimmick is fucking awful). Amrose is pretty good. Rollins isn't bad. But yeah, for the most part, the WWE just doesn't have a lot of guys that can cut an amazing promo. I don't really understand why Triple H has taken such a back seat lately, because the WWE could really use a real heel right about now and he's so good at it.

That's why I find it so shocking that they're not giving Owens more of a push. The dude is great at making the fans hate him, and the WWE needs guys like that.

Personally, I don't think Austin was that good on the mic. He had like three lines he repeated a ton and he swore a lot. He got by on his charisma and his gimmick (me against the man). Cena is like Austin minus the charisma and the great gimmick. He repeats the same few lines over and over and over, but you just don't buy it like you did when Austin sold his three lines, and you certainly don't buy Cena against the man seeing as Cena gets gifted title shots and never really faces adversity.

Owens has done quite well in regards to Merchandise since he left ROH for NXT.

Alot of Steens fans have followed him over.

The guy is very marketable.

On a side note I read that TNA was letting contracts expire and paying by appearance. That will have a few of them possibly willing to got NXT. May be a reason why they moving over so many guys from NXT into WWE rather quickly

How many guys in TNA would actually make wwe? Most of their guys don't fit their bill. TNA's top up and coming star used to be in NXT and wwe rubbed him the wrong way. Roode, aeries and Magnus all just signed deals with global force wrestling. Mcintire was already with WWE and they cut him. Angle will retire with TNA and the wolves hate HHH.

GFW is picking up a lot of the TNA guys, but TNA also usually has working relationships with other companies. They let you book with others while they have you. It's actually backfired on them a few times, when they get injured working another promotion. It also helps them though offset costs. Also TNA runs by tapings, they tape multiple shows in one night. This is considered only one appearance for them.

Dont know but the pay by appearance with no contracts is a new thing for the TNA In this Scale. and it will be driving guys away from TNa outside of the normal movement you see from these organizations.Theres already alot of ROH guys littered about the WWE or NXT

I dont give a fuck where they go. they starting to go somewhere. Wrestlers are not happy with TNS transitioning away from contracts and paying by appearance.
Theres guys in TNA who wont goto NXT cause they consider it a step down who might find it viable now since NXT offers WWE contracts.

You keep talking about the past and im referring to the future and a major problem with TNA pay structure that essentially does not offer the same type of security they did before

Hell TNA might be gone this time next year. they have already been downgraded to an indy company. GF is a good destination for these guys but dont be surprised when these guys start showing back up in the WWE either on the main show or NXT

Anyone watch Smackdown from 7/23? Legit LOL when Owens was dragging Rusev from the corner to pin and he said "God loose some weight"

My favorite Owens moment was in NXT when he was cutting a promo regarding Hideo Itami and stuttered on a word and then said, "I sound like Hideo." Fucking classic.

Owens reminds me of me when I used to play Team Fortress 2 competitively and would go out of my way to troll and piss off all the other teams. I crafted an entire character around my Jack Brickman pseudonym (that's actually where the name originated from) and just had an amazing time making everyone hate me.

Hogan gets the boot from WWE, erased from website. Nothing has been confirmed why as of yet, but rumor is its over an interview, I guess he said some controversial things.

You didn't answer the question of who on tna's roster would make NXT.

I think it's safe to say it went a bit further than some controversial things.

THE REASON HULK HOGAN IS GONE FROM WWE, AND HE WON’T BE COMING BACK ANY TIME SOON, IF EVER

By Dave Scherer on 2015-07-24 09:36:34

The National Enquirer has started releasing the reason that led to WWE severing all ties with Hulk Hogan. As it turns out, they are claiming Hogan made numerous racist remarks that were recorded on the sex tape that he did with Heather Clem and is currently suing Gawker.com over. Hogan claims that he did not give authorization for the tape and that Gawker should have not run it as it was personal in nature.

In a joint story that they broke with RadarOnline.com, the Enquirer claims that Hogan made numerous racist remarks on the tape with Clem including:

About his daughter Brooke he is quoted as saying, ”She is making some real bad decisions now. My daughter Brooke jumped sides on me. I spent $2-3 million on her music career, I’ve done everything like a jackass for her. The one option Brooke had, Brooke’s career besides me, is [to] sell beach records."” They claim Hogan was mad because a "black billionaire guy" had offered to fund her music career. They then quoted Hogan as saying, “I don’t know if Brooke was f*****g the black guy’s son. I mean, I don’t have double standards. I mean, I am a racist, to a point, f*****g n*****s. But then when it comes to nice people and s***, and whatever."” They claim he later said, "I mean, I’d rather if she was going to f*** some n*****, I’d rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall n***** worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player! I guess we’re all a little racist. F*****g n*****.”

They reported that the transcripts were sealed when filed in court, obviously to avoid this situation, but they unearthed a tape, which they cited for their report. They promised more “vile” things from the tape to come later. They really don’t need to release any more to implode Hogan’s career because that has already been done.

There is no way WWE can go near him if this information can be proven. The sides claim to have multiple sources to back it up.

UPDATED 10:19 AM:

WWE sent us the following statement this morning:

"WWE terminated its contract with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan). WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide."

UPDATED 10:29 AM:
When WWE was made aware of the racist comments they immediately fired Hulk Hogan.
