Favorite Sub & Sandwich Shops

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I actually ate it for lunch today. :chuckle:

But hey, five bucks for lunch in downtown Charlotte is still pretty cheap.

Oh yeah? that'd be sweet...if it was still $5. A chicken sub is $6.65 over here, and even the shitty ham sub is like $5.50 now days. That'd be fine if the product was somewhat decent, but...okay, I admit I did have a chicken sub for lunch today ... and it just did not do anything for me.

Oh god, Penn Station...those french fries.

Sheetz actually has pretty decent sandwiches too. Try out a hot, grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce/tomato/cheese/bacon/mayo. They have all sorts of fun sandwiches too, like cheesesticks on sandwiches.

Would go to literally any place before Subway...

Publix has better subs than all of the places you guys are listing. Seriously.

They're opening a Publix literally twenty feet from my apartment building. We can hit it with rocks from the dog park out back. Can't wait.

Teeter has pretty good subs too.

They do a monthly footlong sub that's five bucks every month.

Don't know what's being argued about Mr. Hero but if you don't enjoy their greatness you're clearly a Nazi

Mr. Hero is freaking awesome, haven't had that in a while, might get it for lunch after class tomorrow....

the Romanburger is the best.

Meh, that doesn't excuse them for jacking up their prices.

Totally out of left field.... Yorktown Auto Plaza on Pearl Rd in Parma Heights. They have a deli shop, the subs are cheap, big, and pretty damn tasty. You build the whole thing, so you make it how you want it. Most subs are $5- including a turkey bacon. For a fast sandwich this place is not well known outside of Parma Heights and more than worth it.

Subway is like the Taco Bell of sub shops, except it's not even good when you're drunk. The quality of pretty much everything at Subway is pure shit.

No love for DiBellas in here really, but I had them when in rehab and it was godly. Dat bread... I may have just been starving for good food.

You throw rocks at the businesses around you as a measure of distance?

I dont understand the hype over Jimmie Johns. People basically nut over their sandwiches when talking about it. Its cold cuts on bread. Why are people so crazy over something they can make at home in the same amount of time for cheaper...it doesnt make sense to me.

Dave's Cosmic Subs is a decent place to get a sandwich. If you live in Cleveland you need to try Mister Brisket's corned beef sandwich at least once or order the "duke" if you think you're man enough to finish 1 pound of meat.

Dave's Cosmic Subs is the best sub in Cleveland I've had. Their bread is amazing, and there's something special about that cosmic sauce. Also the Philly cheese steak with hot peppers on everything bread from DiBellas is top notch also.
