WOOF.Welp. Got whooped by Dillon Brooks.
Turned into Ant hero ball down the stretch.
Not a good way to win an international tournament
SGA has been incredible for Canada. What he did to Team USA (RIP Mikal Bridges) in overtime was somethingAnd SGA!
Watching this World Cup makes me even more pissed off we lost to the freaking knicks, Brunson and Hart beat us… that shouldn’t have happened
Is it crazy that I think the two best guys that fit that description are Reaves and Brunson from the roster that made it? Ant can absolutely catch on fire but his shot selection is...not great. And his contributions outside of that area are limited.I'm not sad that Mobley didn't play on Team USA, but I think if someone like him did, they wouldn't have lost. There are just some guys that would have out done the other teams. Like, Lebron wouldn't have let them lose, even if he had to do it himself. They didn't have anyone like that on the team this year and it showed. Despite the playoffs this past year, I do believe Mobley is that kind of player that just wouldn't let them lose, and I guess that gives me good vibes (he's that annoying guy that always practices "too" hard, like all the greats).
Anyways, what a shit fest. Will be interseting to see what they do in 2 years, will the US stop the pro league thing, or will they stack the team?
